PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />DECEMBER 28, 1966 <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />called to order by Mayor Rustad at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, <br />1966 at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota, 55112. <br />OFFICIALS PRESENT <br />Mayor I.. C. Rustad <br />Trustee Richard Johnson <br />Trustee Gary Lang <br />OFFICIALS ABSENT <br />Clerk <br />Trustee <br />Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Perry Malvin <br />ALSO PRESENT <br />Attorney Richard Meyers <br />Engineer Sheldon Boehm <br />Deputy Clerk Marilyn Lidberg <br />Motion by Johnson to approve the minutes of December 12, 1966. <br />Seconded by Lang. 3 Ayes <br />Clerk's Office was directed to contact Dr. Sartor of Mach, Mach <br />and Sartor of Apache Plaza to see if he is willing to accept the position <br />of Health Officer for the Village of Mounds View for the year 1967. <br />Motion by Johnson to send the inspectors to the University of <br />Minnesota extension course. Seconded by Lang. 3 Ayes <br />The attorney was directed to prepare a resolution regarding the <br />New Zoological Gardens at Battle Creek Park. The resolution will be <br />presented at the next meeting. <br />Mr. Kalahan approached the council regarding the street number- <br />ing on Silver Lake Road. Rustad reported he had talked to the postal <br />officials and the matter will be given further consideration after the <br />holidays. <br />Motion was made by Johnson authorizing the attorney to negotiate <br />for the Ruth White Easement. Seconded by Lang. 3 Ayes <br />Motion by Rustad to adopt Resoluti n #269 n the lot split <br />#37262 on MA # 34, #42 and #47. Seconded b on. 3 Ayes <br />The attorney discussed the trial of Tuesday, January 3, 1967, at <br />9:00 a.m. Greene Vs. Village of Mounds View and C. S. McCrossan <br />regarding damages to the Sewer Service Line. The maintenance men have <br />been subpoenaed by Greene. The attorney suggested a itsentative from <br />Comstock and Davis, Inc. should be designated to be present at the trial <br />Motion ( Rustad /Johnson) - Comstock and Davis, Inc. are directed to have <br />a representative at the trial. Carried. 3 Ayes <br />Motion was made by Lang authorizing the attorney to prepare an <br />agreement between the Village and Mr. and Mrs. Cloud regarding a perma- <br />nent sanitary sewer installation in their home. Seconded by Johnson. <br />3 Ayes. <br />
