-3- <br />Mr, Adam Rybak questioned which side of his triangular shaped property would <br />be used .. to figure front footage. The Engineer advised that the shortest side would <br />be used. <br />Mr. Jansen .asked for the cost per front foot. The Engineer stated $11.00 per <br />foot. <br />Mr. Paul Rybak and Mrs. White both 11,estioned the Engineer on the frontage used <br />for assessment on their properties. <br />Mr. Moore, representing Mr. 'Jensen, was recognized as being in attendance. <br />Engineer Boehm commented on winter activity in relation to the construction of <br />the Rice Creek crossing, and in response to a question from Mr. Moore, explained the <br />properties of Mr. Jansen ond Mr. Skiba. <br />There were no further questions from the floor. <br />Mayor Rustad called for objections from the floor three times. There were no <br />objections. <br />A letter from Fankhanel and Ellsworth Properties supporting the proposed water <br />and sewer projectwas read. The mobile home park they plan to start construction on <br />this summer will use the extended services. Attorney Meyers noted the date of their <br />letter was January 18, indicating they were aware of the postponement. <br />The special hearing was closed at 9:30 p.m. <br />MOTION made (Malvin), seconded (Johnson) to order the improvements and instruct <br />the Engineer to prepare the final plans and specifications. The roll call vote <br />polled Trustee Johnson, Trustee Lang, Trustee Malvin, Mayor Rustad and Clerk Walser <br />voting aye - none opposed. Motion Carried 5 Ayes <br />Trustee Lang read the minutes of the Planning Commission meeting. Trustee <br />Lang announced that at the Planning Commission meeting at 7:30 on February 21, future <br />street improvements will be discussed. The Planning Commission plans to discuss <br />improvements in specific areas at future meetings and will contact affected residents <br />in each area by letter asking them to attend. <br />NOTION made (Lang), seconded (Johnson) to set the public hearing on rezoning <br />from R1A to B-3, the last lot on the south side of Highway #10 on the western edge <br />of the village, for February 27, 1967, at 9:00 p.m. Motion Carried 5 Ayes <br />The bill from Northern Contractors for the repair of the water main break on <br />Hillview was referred to the Engineer. <br />Trustee Lang reported that all Planning Co:mission members contacted have agreed • <br />to continue to serve. Cnarlotte-Forsiund is the only commission member not yet con- <br />tacted. <br />MOTION made (Walser) seconded (Rustad) to approve licenses.
