-2- <br />M /S /P (Walser /Johnson) To accept the resignation of Mrs. Gross as presented, <br />effective March 10, 1967. 4 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Walser /Lang) To approve a mop cleaning contract at Mr. Gross suggestion <br />for a cost of $4.75 per month. 4 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Walser /Rustad) To approve the registration of Deputy Clerk Marilyn Lidberg <br />in the U. of M. course for Municipal Clerks on March 21 -22, 1967, at a cost <br />of $15,00. 4 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Johnson /Lang) To accept and approve plans as presented for 1967 -2. <br />4 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Johnson /Lang) To set March 27, 12:00 noon, as the time that bids will be <br />opened for 1967 -2. 4 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Lang /Johnson) To approve registration of Mr. Skiba in U. of M. Supervisory <br />course on March 8, at a cost of $20.00. 4 Ayes <br />Inspector Chris Piehowski presented an application, plans, and introduced a re -- <br />presentative of Superior 400. Minutes of last April will have to be checked to <br />determine if a special hearing must be held. <br />Inspector Bob Edmond - No report <br />Inspector Walley Skiba reported no evidence of a rat problem in the construction <br />area he was asked to check. <br />The payment of assessments for sewer and water improvements in housing develop- <br />ments was discussed. The attorney advised on possible procedure. <br />RECESS at 8:46 <br />The Public Hearing on Rezoning was called to order by Mayor Rustad at 9:00 P.M. <br />on Monday, February 27, 1967. <br />The NOTICE was read by the attorney (including legal discription) and proof of <br />publication according to law was presented. The clerk verified that notices <br />had been sent to all affected residents within 250 ft. of the property. The <br />hearing was determined to be a legal hearing by the attorney. <br />The property involved is the last two lots on Highway #10, south side, at West <br />limits of village. An office and warehouse building (like PAK) is planned, cost- <br />ing $70- 80,000 with 6 -8,00 sq. ft., no comments on intended use. <br />Mr. Art Schott asked if outside storage is planned. ANSWER -N0! <br />Mr. Chuck Larson has no objections to it. <br />Mayor Rustad called for objections twice. <br />Mr, Art Schott commented on the uncertain nature of the business, <br />Mayor Rustad called for objections. No further objections heard. <br />Mayor Rustad closed the hearing at 9:06 P.M. <br />
