7ctition from O'dell Peterson was presented and the procedure for <br />initiating improvements discussed. <br />M /S /P (Rustad /Johnson) To accept the petition for;improvements from <br />Odell Peterson. 5 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Rustad /Lang) To direct the Engineer to prepare a preliminary <br />report & cost estimate for the improvements on the properties re- <br />presented in the Odell Peterson petition. 5 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Rustad /Johnson) To set 9:00 P.M. on June 12,1967 as the date <br />of the hearing on the improvements requested by Odell Peterson. <br />Trustee Malvin read the April Police report and the April B & E Patrol <br />report. <br />Trustee Jchnson stated that arrangements for street sweeping are being <br />made and actual sweeping should start next week. <br />The request for the use of the Hall by the TOPS Club for teen age <br />dances on an every other Friday basis for the rest of the summer was <br />discussed. The Council deferred action on this request but approved <br />the schedule for the next one month period. <br />Civil Defense Director Charles Jackson announced that a civil defense <br />course is being given to the Mounds View Mrs. Jaycees. <br />Attorney Meyers read a bill submitted by Jtubert & Robert Bone for <br />equipment operation labor during the 1965 tornado. Attorney Meyers <br />advised that the Federal Government will not recognize or reimburse <br />on this. Hubert & Robert Bona will be asked to attend an Agenda <br />Meeting to discuss the request. <br />Attorney Meyers announced the receipt of a release to the Village of <br />Mounds View for all claims by the Peter Lametti Co. and advised that <br />he has released our final payment to them. <br />M /S /P (Malvin /Johnson) To authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute <br />the Silver Lake Road Highway Easement agreement. 5 Ayes <br />Engineer Boehn read the proposed agreement on water inter connection <br />with Blaine. <br />M /S /P (Rustad /Walser) To approve the contract on water inter connection <br />with Blaine in which Blaine will pay for 1/3 of the installation costs <br />and the water use rate for both parties will be 12$ /1000 gallons. <br />5 Ayes <br />The Engineer advised that the delay in getting the water inter - <br />connection finished may result in a delay of the water tower repainting <br />prject. <br />M /S /P (Johnson /Lang) To accept plans and specifications on the <br />1967 -3 MSA street project as presented. 5 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Rustad /Johnson) To set the Bid opening on the 1967 -3 project <br />for 12:00 noon on June 12, 1967 5 Ayes <br />
