-3- <br />M/S/P (Walser /Rustad) -To approve final Estimate #7 of Northern <br />Contracting and enter into the one year guarentee (check #1586). <br />5 Ayes. <br />M /S /P (Walser /Rustad) -To approve the purchase of a desk and chair <br />for the office for a cost of approximately $195.00. <br />5 Ayes. <br />The transfer of funds from the Road and Bridge Fund was discussed. <br />$110,000.00 in the account is MSA street funds. The street work <br />has been paid out of the Sewer account. The Attorney and Engineer <br />advised that this should be done. <br />M /S /P (':falser /Rustad) -To direct the Treasurer to reimburse the Sewer <br />Fund with the State Aid Funds received in 1966. <br />5 Ayes. <br />Trustee Lang reported that the Planning Commission has approved the <br />Lot Split request of Mr. Ellingson of 7960 Red Oak Dr. and that the <br />Engineer and Attorney have reviewed the request. <br />M /S /P (Lang /Johnson) -To approve the Ellingson Lot Split. <br />5 Ayes. <br />Trustee Lang reported that the Planning Commission, Engineer, and <br />Attorney have all approved the Lot Split request of Spring Lake <br />Baptist Church (Lot #119 divided into two lots). <br />M /S /P (Lang /Malvin) -To approve the Spring Lake Baptist Church Lot <br />Split. 5 Ayes. <br />Mayor Rustad reported on the New Brighton meeting attended by the <br />mayor, clerk, and one councilman regarding the route of the NSP <br />power lines. The possible alternate route is along Hwy. #10 through <br />Mounds View. The Mayor felt that the meeting went very satisfact- <br />orily and that the alternate route will not be used. <br />Attorney Meyers reported on the control of speed on Silver Lake Road. <br />He read the written opinion he received from the office of the state <br />attorney general.The state advises that we can not install speed <br />signs along Silver Lake Road. <br />M /S /P (Rustad/Walser)-To adopt Ordinance #143 amending Ordinance #67 <br />rezoning certain properties in Mounds View (2138 and 2146 Hwy. #10) <br />from B -1 to B -3. <br />5 Ayes. <br />M /S /P (Johnson - Malvin) -To adopt Resolution #310 authorizing the Clerk <br />to apply for a permit from the Department of Conservation for crossing <br />Rice Creek with the water main. <br />5 Ayes. <br />M/S/P (Lang /Rustad) -To authorize the clerk to apply for relief of <br />taxes on certain properties acquired by the Village. <br />5 Ayes. <br />M /S /P (Rustad /Malvin) -To adopt Resolution #309 abating assessments <br />for M.A. 35 <br />5 Ayes. <br />
