-2- <br />The Mayor introduced Dennis S. Zylla to the residents. <br />M /S /P (Rustad /Johnson) To accept the preliminary report and <br />cost estimate, and set a hearing for 9:30 P. M., July 10, 1967 <br />on the Eigenheer 2nd Addition. 3 Ayes <br />Robert Eigenheer also requested to use a mobile home as a <br />temporary office. A special use permit will be required. <br />Mrs. Ruth ' :'hite inquired as to when the contractor plans to <br />replace the sod on her property. She was informed by the <br />Engineer that black dir-': and seed will be put there as soon <br />as the surfacing is done so that all the boulevards can be <br />done at once. She was also informed that the award made after <br />condemnation should include any claims for sod. <br />There were some complaints regarding the seeding in the area <br />of Irondale and '`loodcrest. The matter was referred to the <br />Engineer to check and make corrections as necessary. <br />The Rezoning Hearing opened at 9:00 P. M. <br />Notice of the Hearing was read. Notices were sent to all <br />people 250 feet around property to be rezoned., <br />The Mayor called for objections: <br />August Spitzer, 7889 "oodlawn feels that they should keep the <br />residential area residential, instead of building more apart- <br />ments. Mr. Staples, 7710 1oodlawn, feels the building of <br />apartments next to his property will degrade the value. Floyd <br />V:.sger, 7815 ','oodlawn, is opposed. He thinks that we `have <br />,r; h apartments. Jim r'arker, 7768 'Food :. ' -: --They are very <br />opPosed to building apartments. A letter was read and is on <br />file in the of ice. <br />Mr, R. U. Gustafson stated that the land to be rezoned is <br />adaptable to multiple rather than single family dwellings. <br />The stipulation on the sale of the property, is the rezoning. <br />The Mayor called for objections three times. There were no <br />further objections. The Hearing will be continued at the <br />next meeting, July 10, 1967 at 8:00 P. M., when it is <br />expected that the whole Council will be in attendance. <br />The ;r,in= ° :::: of the Planning Commission were read. <br />M /S /P (Malvin /Johnson) To approve a variance for Dropps and <br />Goodroad on 8280 Long Lake Road. 3 Ayes <br />
