Engineer Boehm discussed village map reproduction costs. <br />) M /S /P (Walser /Lang)- to order 100 copies of the 17 "X22" size maps at a cost of $25.00 <br />plus 10' per copy. 4 Ayes <br />The Engineer reported the water tower repainting completed today but recommended it <br />not be filled before Wednesday morning. <br />Dalberg builders requested authorization to install wells in two new homes along Silver <br />Lake Road in an area where water is not now available. <br />Engineer Boehm will do a preliminary study of costs for a dead -end feeder down from <br />Highway #10. <br />Acting Mayor Malvin called a recess at 8:55 P.M. <br />The Rezoning hearing for Mounds View Developers was opened at 9:00 P.M. <br />The Clerk read the notice & attested to its publication twice prior to the hearing. <br />Legal Description of property to be rezoned from B -3 to Light Industrial. <br />Mr. Clarence Krans explained Mounds View developers request. The Engineer indicated <br />the area involved on the village map. <br />Mr. Skiba asked several questions on the definition of the term "light industrial ". <br />Discussion of the area and use followed with several persons commenting favorably on <br />the proposed action. <br />Acting Mayor Malvin called for objections three times. The hearing was closed at <br />9:15 P.M. <br />M /S /P (Lang /Johnson)- to rezone the Mounds View developers property B -3 to Light <br />Industrial. <br />Poll of Council: Johnson -Aye, Lang -Aye, Malvin -Aye, and Walser -Aye. <br />The meeting was recessed until 9:30 P.M. <br />The hearing on Eigenheer's improvements was called to order at 9:30 P.M. by Acting <br />Mayor Malvin. <br />The Clerk read the notice and attested to the notification of affected residents <br />but advised that it had been published June 29, but not on July 6th, as scheduled. <br />The Attorney stated that it is not a lega4 hearing but suggested that the Council <br />should open the meeting to discussion of the proposal. <br />M /S /P (Lang /Johnson)- to set the hearing date for the Eigenheer Improvement hearing <br />for July 24, 1967 at 8:30 P.M., 1967. 4 Ayes <br />Mr. Jack Bell spoke for Mr. Eigenheer in support of Plan "B" (no lift station). He <br />suggested deferring assessments on undeveloped lands involved. <br />Mr. Herbst objected to additional assessments at this time. <br />Mr. Christiansen objected and said he felt the plan benefits only Mr. Eigenheer and <br />he should pay total cost. <br />A representative of School District #621 said he didn't object if the school district <br />is not assessed. <br />
