PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />AUGUST 28, 1967 <br />the Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to <br />Jluer by Mayor Rustad at 8:00 P.M. on Monday August 28, 1967 at the <br />Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />Present: Also Present: <br />I.C. Rustad, Mayor Richard Meyers, Attorney <br />Robert Walser, Clerk Sheldon Boehm, Engineer <br />Perry Malvin, Trustee <br />Richard Johnson, Trustee <br />Gary Lang, Trustee <br />(Walser-Lang) To correct the minutes of July 26, inserting a motion <br />just prior to the motion to ad'ouro, that did not appear in the re- <br />produced copy and read: M/S /P (Johnson, Malvin) to approve the variance <br />.requested by Dahlberg Builders. 5 Ayes <br />M;S /P (Johnson- Malvin) To approve the minutes of July 24 corrected to <br />read ?'atgx, Construction Grant & Federal Water Grant (the word water <br />replacing the word sewer) in the two last motions before the motion <br />to adjourn. 5 Ayes <br />.,uent, Mrs. Peterson, read a statement objecting to the issuance <br />c± a permit to the Launching Pad permiting the parking of a house <br />tzailer used -as a union strike headquarters. <br />j'.,,ello(: r ; of the council commented on the situation and discussed the <br />_,.,. <br />M /S /P (Malvin- Walser) To send a letter to the Launching Pad & to the <br />union involved, that the trailer permit has been revoked and that the <br />Launching Pad has until Wed. evening at 6:00 P.M. to move it out of <br />the village. 5 Ayes <br />Cr<stee Lang questioned Launching Pad use of both sides of H2 for <br />parking. The problem was discussed. <br />Resident, Mrs. Peterson, questioned Lakeside Park activity. Mayor <br />Rusted is council representative & Mr. Don Haes is chairman. A report <br />will be prepared & made available. <br />Local builder, Mr. Eigenheer, questioned '/ street by school- school <br />would only recondemn so it will be built as a half a street. <br />M/S /P (Lang- Johnson) To give Mr. Goodroad tentative approval of his <br />lot split for a lot on Silver Lake Road. A building permit will be <br />issued, 5 Ayes <br />M.rs.. Peterson questioned what land is park property. Questioned work <br />o.:.-.ree not owned by Village -Paul Videne of Midland Construction will <br />br, contacted & told he must control weeds on his area or we will do it <br />& charge him for it. <br />Comments on hearing originally scheduled for 8:30 tonight -the wrong <br />legal was published -no hearing will be held tonight. <br />
