- 2 - <br />Special assessment hearing on Project 1966 -9 was called to order at 7:00 P.M. <br />The notice was read and the Clerk attested to its publication in the Bulletin <br />of September 21, 1967 and notification of all parties concerned. <br />Mr. Shaw (Spring View Lane) questioned his assessment total. The Mayor read <br />his assessment figures. <br />The Mayor called for objections three times. The hearing was closed at <br />7:06 P.M. <br />M /S /P (Rustad,Johnson) To adopt the assessment role for the Water <br />Improvement Project 1966 -9 5 Ayes <br />Engineer Boehm and Mayor Rustad discussed progress in the attempt to <br />get traffic lights at County Road H and Highway #10. Lights have been <br />located and additional details are being worked out. <br />A report on Mrs. Hackett was read and the Mayor and Council directed that a <br />letter will be written giving Mrs. Hackett 30 days to comply with Village <br />directives. <br />Special assessment hearing on Project 1967 -1 was called to order at 7:30 P.P. <br />Attorney Meyers present also. <br />The notice was read and the Clerk attested to its publication in the <br />Bulletin of September 21, 1967 and notification of all parties concerned. <br />The Engineer read the assessment rates and offered to give specific costs <br />if requested. <br />Mr. White of Skyline Motel requested that his assessments be read. The <br />Engineer and Attorney quoted the costs and discussed them with Mr. White. <br />The Engineer explained interest free payment within 30 days after which <br />it will be certified to the county. <br />Interest rates and duration of payments were reviewed. <br />Adam Rybak asked that his assessment costs be read. The Engineer read <br />his assessments and those for William Rybak. <br />Mayor Rustad called for objections. <br />Mr. Rybak objects to method of computing frontage and frontage total. <br />Mayor Rustad called for objections twice. <br />Hearing <br />closed at 7:48 P.M. <br />Mr. Newcombe discussed his water installation problems, dating back to 1963, <br />Concerns a short water extension he disagrees with and couldn't get reasonable <br />access to. Also objects to $100.00 late hook -up charge. He doesn't object <br />to assessments or other charges however. <br />
