PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />November 13, 1967 <br />The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was Called <br />to order by Mayor Rustad at 8:03 M. on Monday, November 13, 1967 <br />at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />Present: Absent: <br />Mayor Rustad <br />Clerk Walser <br />Trustee Johnson <br />Trustee Malvin <br />Trustee Lang <br />Also Present: <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Engineer Boehm <br />M /S /P (Johnson /Malvin) To approve minutes of October 16, 1967. <br />4 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Malvin /Walser) To approve minutes of October 23, 1967. 4 Ayes <br />A street light petition for County Road I and Greenwood Drive and <br />a request for lights in Eigenheers Addition were discussed. <br />M /S /P (Rustad /Walser) To install a street light at the corner of <br />County Road I and Greenwood Drive. 4 Ayes <br />Minnesota Highway Department officials appeared to request passage of <br />a Resolution to permit few Highway #10 and other Highway work in the <br />village. <br />Attorney Meyers recommended that council get a clause deleted <br />(referring to possible costs by Village in utilities movement) and <br />also get deleted a clatse on easement costs from the proposed contract. <br />Questions arose regarding new signal lights and right of way grants <br />on property in the new Highway #10 area. <br />The Highway Department reported that on the Silver Lake Road and <br />Highway #10 signal the state will pay 507. and the County 5070. The <br />County may try to share their cost with Village. Plans are prepared <br />and the timetable shaping up to bid letting in a couple weeks. <br />Tentatively bids will be received November 18 - 25 and bid opening <br />on November 28th. <br />The signal at County Road H and Highway #10 is still set for May 1968. <br />There is a six month delay for controller units. <br />After much discussion and a review of all points final approval was <br />delayed on the agreement. The Highway Departmeit will appear at <br />the agenda meeting next week. <br />Greenfield Park representatives questioned the timetable on park work. <br />Work will probably be started this week. <br />
