- 2 - <br />M /S /P (Rustad /Lang) To sign the agreement submitted by the Highway <br />Department. 5 Ayes <br />The need for a mining or excavating ordinance was discussed. <br />The need for requiring a special use permit for schools and other <br />tax exempt properties was discussed. <br />Engineer Boehm read report on review of Colonial Village Mobile Home <br />Park plans. <br />Engineer Boehm reported progress on HUD grant for water improvements. <br />Also reported on participation of Ramsey County toward dollar <br />contribution of drainage facilities involving County roads within <br />the Village. <br />Recess at 8:25 P.M. <br />Mo Vu Development hearing for rezoning opened at 8:30 P.M. Rezoning <br />from S -C to I -1 for the purpose of constructing a metal plating firm. <br />Legal notice read. <br />General comments regarding plans for the property described. They <br />don't want the north 300' rezoned. <br />Tentative use is for a 15,000 square foot metal plating company <br />plant. Other areas would later be used by other industries. Plans <br />of plant were drawn up and presented. 650,000 gal /mon. of water used. <br />Questions on large water use and heavy use of sewer system were <br />answered. Discharge will not hurt lines. They were advised they <br />will need approval of NSSSD. <br />Mayor Rustad called for objections three times. The hearing closed <br />at 8:43 P.M. <br />The route of streets through the property was discussed. Quincy <br />through to Highway #10 or a road along the west side were discussed <br />as alternate routes. <br />M /S /P (Johnson /Malvin) To conditionally rezone the property described <br />(E 2 of W a of SE,k of Sec 8 Tn 30 Rq 23) except for the North 300' <br />subject to road easement .on East side and on issuance of a building <br />permit. <br />Conditional rezoning was discussed. Further discussion between owner <br />and seller will be held and action will be taken later. <br />The motion was withdrawn. <br />
