- 2 - <br />Clerk Walser announced that he had accepted a new position in Los Angeles <br />and would be resigning from his elected capacity with the Village of Mounds <br />View. <br />Trustee Johnson read the Police report and the B & E report for May. <br />Attorney Meyers presented a resolution to declare certain properties <br />non - conservation property. This would be discussed at the next meeting. <br />Attorney Meyers presented a resolution to cover the Village Council under <br />workmans compensation. <br />M /S /P (Johnson /Malvin) To adopt Resolution #378, covering the Village <br />Council under Workmen's Compensation. <br />3 Ayes <br />Attorney Meyers has prepared an application for tax relief on Village <br />owned land. <br />M /S /P (Johnson /Malvin) Authorizing the Clerk to sign the relief applications. 3 Ayes <br />The plastic pipe ordinance will be discussed at the next meeting. <br />Donald Drung has paid $1,412.79 to the Village for assessments on a new lot. <br />He may now record the lot split. <br />The Snider Addition subdivision is pending payment of assessments and will be <br />taken care of by his signing an agreement to have assessments levied against <br />his newly created lot.' <br />Engineer Boehm submitted a preliminary report and cost estimate for sanitary <br />sewer and water project # 1968 -4, eliminating lift station #3. At least a <br />drop man hole should be constructed while the main line is being installed. <br />The decision will be delayed until the full Council is present. <br />Engineer Boehm read a letter received from Fridley regarding an interconnection <br />of water supplies between Mounds View and Fridley. They request that we prepare <br />the agreement. Our construction will be delayed so it was suggested that we <br />might authorize Fridley to do a part of the construction now. <br />M /S /P (Johnson /Malvin) To direct the Engineer and Attorney to work out an <br />agreement with Fridley for them to do their construction with total costs <br />eventually to be shared between Fridley and Mounds View. 3 Ayes <br />The Engineer reported the New Brighton interconnection is still being considered <br />by their Village. <br />Well drillers wage rate information requested by HUD was supplied by the <br />Engineer to HUD. <br />Three future street hearings have been held so far. <br />M /S /P (Johnson /Walser) To adjourn at 8:54 P.M. 3 Ayes <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />71 <br />Ro}iert A.
