- 4 - <br />Councilman Malvin's Report: <br />Councilman Malvin reported that we recently had a water break on Silver Lake <br />Road. Also that Wally Skiba had injured his hand and that we are still in <br />discussion with NSSSD over sodding and replacing trees in the Wayside Park. <br />Councilman Johnson's Report: <br />MSP (Johnson /Malvin) To advertise for bids October 14th at 8:00 P.M. for a <br />1969 Police station wagon with or without trade -in. <br />Councilman Johnson also read the Police Report for August. <br />Councilman Lang's Report: <br />Councilman Lang said the Recreation Committee will be holding a budget meeting <br />in the near future. Also NSSSD has seeded some of the ground where previously <br />complaints were arising. <br />Attorney Meyer's Report: <br />MSP (Rustad /Malvin) Approving Resolution #396 authorizing the Mayor and Deputy <br />Clerk to apply for the conveyance of tax forfeited land. <br />4 Ayes <br />4 Ayes <br />MSP (Malvin /Johnson) Authorizing the Mayor and Deputy Clerk to sign the Police <br />Mutual Aid agreement. 4 Ayes <br />Incinerator ordinance presented and tabled. <br />MSP (Johnson /Lang) Approving Ordinance #154 changing off street parking <br />requirements for multiple dwellings to 1 1/2 spaces for dwelling unit. 4 Ayes <br />MSP (Malvin /Lang) Approving Ordinance #155 establishing a Human Rights Commission.4 Ayes <br />Attorney presented final draft of Resolution #394 abating assessments for Jack <br />Krugen. <br />MSP (Johnson /Lang) To authorize the Mayor to endorse the check payable to <br />Watson Construction Company. All Assessments have been paid. 4 Ayes <br />Engineer Boehm's Report: <br />Engineer presented assessment rolls for Projects 1967 -5 and 1968 -1. <br />MSP (Rustad /Malvin) To set assessment hearing for 1967 -5 and 1968 -1 for Friday, <br />September 27th at 7:00 P.M. <br />Engineer reported bids for Improvement Project 1968 -2, Parkview Terrace were <br />opened at 12:00 noon, September 9th, <br />MSP (Johnson /Lang) To award the bid for Improvement Project 1968 -2 to Nodland <br />Associates for $31,750.00. <br />Engineer reported on an alarm from Woodale lift station to maintenance building. <br />An initial hook up fee of $25.00 plus $10.00 to $11.00 per month. <br />MSP (Rustad /Johnson) To authorize Northern States Power to make the hook up. <br />4 Ayes <br />4 Ayes <br />4 Ayes <br />MSP (Johnson /Rustad) To adjourn at 10:32 P.M. 4 Ayes <br />Rpectfully submitted, <br />Dennis S.
