- 2 - <br />Keith Harstad requested the Council set a hearing date to rezone portions of <br />proposed Harstad Addition R2, R3 and B3 before actual platting. Land South of <br />County Road H2 between Long Lake Road and Red Oak. <br />MSP (Rustad /Malvin) To set rezoning hearing for December 9th at 9:15 P.M. 4 Ayes <br />Resident complained about snow plowing salt off of Silver Lake Road onto the grass. <br />Mayor referred him to Dean Anklan, County Engineer. <br />MSP (Rustad /Lang) To approve the following licenses: Heating and Air Conditionisg <br />license - St. Marie Sheet Metal, Inc.: General Contracting license - Floodmaster <br />Engineering Corp., and Donco Builders, Inc. 4 Ayes <br />MSP (Rustad /Johnson) To approve general checks # 2825 - 2897 excluding #3894 <br />and payroll checks # 531 - 550. 4 Ayes <br />MSP (Rustad /Lang) To approve check #2894 final payment to Nodland Associates, Inc. <br />for Water and Sewer Project 1968 -2 and to enter into a one year warranty agreement. 4 Ayes <br />Engineer reported that the test wells were coming along very well. <br />Malvin commented on the excessive amount of water in the basements on Groveland <br />and Red Oak Drive. Building inspector will check. <br />Construction of the sewage plant on the river is about to begin. <br />Johnson read the October police report. <br />Lang reported that the pole and two lights have been installed at Greenfield Park. <br />Work has been completed on the fire damaged Lambert warming house. The rinks are <br />being prepared for flooding. Warming house attendants can apply at the Village <br />Hall. Woodcrest Park is squared away and will be restored for skating. <br />Mayor thanked the Civil Defense for the work that they did election night. <br />Letter read from Aamot Well Company, Inc. about being rained out. <br />Attorney read the anti - screech ordinance. No action was taken at this time. <br />MSP (Thhnson /Lang) To approve Ordinance #159 for off street parking as follows: <br />Multiple dwellings - one and one -half space per dwelling unit. <br />MSP (Malvin /Johnson) To approve Ordinance #160 amending Ordinance #15 stating <br />that the construction of all business, industrial, or apartment buildings shall <br />conform with the provisions of the City of St. Paul building code as revised and <br />also the State laws as they may apply. <br />Attorney read letter from Miner, Miner and Miner in regards to Carlson - LaVine, <br />asking if Village would consider purchasing approximately 25 acres north of <br />Woodcrest between Long Lake Road and Irondale since it is already chopped up <br />with easements. Attorney will investigate. <br />4 Ayes <br />4 Ayes <br />MSP (Rustad /Malvin) To approve Resolution #407 abating assessments on Village <br />property. 4 Ayes <br />MSP (Rustad /Malvin) To approve Resolution #408 authorizing the Mayor and Deputy <br />Clerk to sign resolution conveying of tax forfeited lands. 4 Ayes <br />
