MSP (Hodges /Blanchard) To approve Resolution #425 apportioning the assessments <br />on Division #39783. 4 Ayes <br />Councilman Johnson's Report <br />Councilman Johnson stated that a previously passed resolution requesting NSSSD <br />to make a study of the Minneapolis offer was not acted upon at the last meeting. <br />The resolution is scheduled to be discussed tomorrow night. Mayor Rustad <br />interjected that a metropolitan sewer bill was expected to be introduced in <br />the legislature this week. <br />Councilman Hodges' Report <br />Councilman Hodges submitted a list of the Recreation Committee members for 1969. <br />He asked any interested residents who wanted to be a member of the committee <br />to contact him. There was still one opening. <br />Councilman Blanchard no report. <br />Robert Edmond, electrical inspector, stated that he had attended a League of <br />Minnesota Municipalities seminar. <br />Attorney Meyers' Report <br />Attorney Meyers stated that in his interpretation our garbage and rubbish <br />ordinance did prohibit the placing of garbage cans nearer than the side of <br />the building. <br />Attorney Meyers stated he still is in the process of studying the snowmobile <br />ordinance. <br />Attorney Meyers presented Resolution #426, adopted in December, in which the <br />Council went on record as in favor of a metropolitan zoo. <br />MSP (Blanchard /Johnson) To approve Resolution #427 abating certain assessments <br />in Block 1 Holchuh Addition. 4 Ayes <br />MSP (Johnson /Hodges) To approve Resolution #428 releasing easement rights on <br />Lots 1 and 2 Parkview Terrace. 4 Ayes <br />The regular meeting recessed at 8:30 P.M. <br />Rezoning hearing called to order by Mayor Rustad. <br />Clerk Zylla read legal notice. <br />Coun-ki Roa. <br />
