- 3 - <br />MSP (Johnson /Malvin) To approve Resolution #430, Division #39806 setting <br />up an easement for road across the South end of Lot 37, Knollwood Park Addition. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Malvin /Hodges) To approve Resolution #431, Division #39805 taking an <br />additional five feet from Groveland Road across the front of the North 75 feet <br />of the East 200 feet of Lot 47, Auditors Subdivision #89. <br />MSP (Johnson /Hodges) To approve Resolution #432 apportioning assessments on <br />Division # 39830 Spring Lake Park Hillview Lot 119. <br />MSP (Blanchard /Malvin) To approve Resolution #433 authorizing the Mayor and <br />Clerk to execute an agreement between the City of Fridley and the Village of <br />Mounds View for the purpose of permitting certain residents in the Village of <br />Mounds View to connect onto the City of Fridley's municipal sanitary sewer <br />system. The agreement was read and signed by the Mayor and Clerk. <br />Clerk Zylia asked the Council if the Council had any policy on snow plow <br />damage to residential property in the Village. The Council stated that <br />residents should contact Ramsey County but they felt that, as in the past, <br />the county would take no action. <br />Councilman Malvin no report. <br />Councilman Hodges no report. <br />Councilman Johnson's Report <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />Councilman Johnson stated he attended a special meeting of the NSSSD last week. <br />Conclusion of the meeting was that the Metropolitan Sewer Bill was a bad bill <br />and that it was vague. Councilman Johnson stated that there will be a discussion <br />of the Minneapolis offer tomorrow evening and a general review of the Metropolitan <br />Council Bill and the NSSSD position on the bill will take place again. <br />Councilman Johnson read a report of total gallons of water pumped during 1968. <br />Total gallons for a 12 month period 161,999,000 gallons. <br />Councilman Blanchard's Report <br />Councilman Blanchard stated that generally he felt that streets were well plowed <br />and that Ramsey County was doing a fine job. He stated that we are the only <br />municipality effectively cleaning our fire hydrants. <br />A resident, Harry Gumm, requested information on the possibility of fencing <br />between the parsonage on County Road 1 and Long Lake Road and a new apartment <br />building being constructed to the East. Council stated they felt the owner <br />would comply with fencing requirements and that Building Inspector Piehowski <br />should oversee the situation. <br />Attorney Meyers' Report <br />Attorney Meyers presented a highway easement from Robert Eigenheer. The East <br />33 feet of Lot 14 Block 2 Greenfield Addition. The attorney stated we need a <br />certificate of title and a legal description of the easement which we are going <br />to release in order to complete the necessary documents. <br />
