PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />April 14, 1969 <br />A Special Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order <br />by Mayor Rustad at 7:45 P.M. on Monday, April 14, 1969, at the Village <br />Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />Present: <br />Mayor Rustad <br />Councilman Malvin <br />Councilman Blanchard <br />Absent: <br />Councilman Johnson <br />Councilman Hodges <br />Also Present: <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Engineer Boehm <br />Clerk Zylla read the legal notice and attested to its publication in <br />the New Brighton Bulletin April 3rd and 10th, as follows: All that <br />part of the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 8, Township 30, Range 23 <br />lying SWly of right -of -way of STH No. 10 and N of a line running <br />parallel with and distant 958.59' N of the Sly line of said 1/4 1/4 <br />Section line; except -Part of the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 8, <br />Township 30, Range 23 described as follows: Beginning at the inter- <br />section of the N line of the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 8, <br />Township 30, Range 23 and the SW1y right -of -way line of STH No.10; <br />thence W along said N line 125'; thence S at right angles to said <br />N line 105'; thence E parallel to said N line to the SWly right -of -way <br />line of said highway; thence NWIy along said right -of -way line to the <br />point of beginning. Rezone from R1 (Residential) to B3 (Commercial). <br />Mr. Ervin Herbst, petitioner, was present and said he desired property <br />to be rezoned commercial for a clinic. No further information was <br />available. <br />Mayor Rustad called for objections to the proposed rezoning. There <br />were none. <br />Mr. Carol Bona, 2244 Highway #10, asked if a buffer zone could be <br />included. Chris Piehowski, building inspector, said the type of <br />buffer should be determined now. Council felt that could be <br />decided when the plans were presented. <br />Mayor Rustad closed the hearing at 7:52 P.M. <br />Mayor Rustad stated that no decision would be made at this time since <br />only three Council members were present and a 4/5s vote is needed. <br />The three members present did however voice their intent to those <br />present to vote yes when the matter is again considered. <br />R spectfully Submitted, <br />Vit.-7,44' --4 ' Z16 <br />Dennis S.
