PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />May 12, 1969 <br />The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Rustad at 8:02 P.M. on Monday, May 12, 1969, at the Village Hall, 2401 <br />Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />Present: <br />Mayor Rustad <br />Councilman Malvin <br />Councilman Johnson <br />Councilman Hodges <br />Councilman Blanchard <br />Also Present: <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Engineer Boehm <br />MSP (Johnson /Hodges) To approve the minutes of April 28, 1969. 5 Ayes <br />Residents Requests and Comments: <br />The Mounds View Jaycees requested the use of the park and Village Hall for <br />Indian Summer Days, September 28th, The Clerk was authorized to make the <br />necessary reservation on the calendar. <br />Joe Strangis, of Preferred Builders, asked about the completion date for the road <br />in Park View Terrace. Requested Engineer to call him after he has consulted with <br />the contractor. Mr. Strangis also asked about vacated easements in Nordling <br />Terrace. Attorney advised that he has the resolution for action tonight. <br />Mayor Rustad's Report <br />Mayor Rustad read the Police Report for April. <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla's Report <br />MSP (Rustad /Johnson) To approve the following licenses: General Contracting - <br />Lawrence Signs, Inc. and Excavating - Minnesota Home Sewer and Pinewood Sewer <br />and Water Service. <br />MSP (Blanchard /Hodges) To approve the general checks # 3251 - 3281 and the <br />payroll checks # 845 - 863. Total disbursements $17,321.80. <br />MSP (Johnson /Rustad) To approve a subdivision of the S 1/2 of Lot 81 Knollwood <br />Park Addition for Vincent Ackterkirk subject to the payment of fees and the <br />signing of the additional assessment agreement. <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />MSP (Blanchard /Johnson) To dispense with retaining a safe deposit box at <br />the First State Bank of New Brighton. 5 Ayes <br />Councilman Johnson's Report <br />There is a NSSSD meeting tomorrow night. The Minnesota House has considered <br />the Metro Sewer Bill today but I don't know what happened. The bill is expected <br />to pass. <br />
