Rosemary Goff -5071 Red Oak Drive, Marge Grabowski - <br />5060 Longview Drive, Roscile Hillsdale -6951 Knollwood Drive, Jean Miller - <br />2291 Hillview Road, Elaine Fieldseth -7889 Woodlawn, Irene Edberg -7860 Greenwood <br />Drive, Lenore Kinderman -5513 Quincy, Ruth Erickson -5475 Quincy, Mary LaVaque- <br />2146 Hillview Road. <br />MSP (Blanchard /Johnson) To approve the final plat for Jim Lund Addition and <br />to authorize the Clerk to sign it. 4 Ayes <br />MSP (Rustad /Hodges) To approve Resolution #455 apportioning the assessments in <br />Pinecrest Addition (Division #40829). 4 Ayes <br />MSP (Johnson /Blanchard) To approve Resolution #456 apportioning the assessments <br />in Eigenheer 3rd Addition (Division #40833). 4 Ayes <br />MSP (Hodges /Johnson) To approve Resolution #457 apportioning the assessments <br />in Danielson Addition (Division #40817). 4 Ayes <br />MSP (Johnson /Hodges) To approve Resolution #458 apportioning the assessments <br />in Skiba Addition (Division #40739). 4 Ayes <br />Councilman Johnson's Report <br />Councilman Johnson announced that there is a meeting at NSSSD October 14th at <br />which there will be established a date when villages will open negotiations <br />on a new contract. <br />Councilman Blanchard's Report <br />Councilman Blanchard stated that in an emergency situation he called out village <br />equipment to help combat the peat fire across the highway (O'Neil Property). <br />Councilman Blanchard also stated that the Human Rights Commission is charged <br />with the responsibility of seeing that any contractor employed by Mounds View <br />is an equal opportunity employer. <br />Mayor Rustad gave the audience some background on the Watson assessment appeal <br />stating that the $80,000 + assessment was upheld by the state courts and now <br />constitutes a judgement against Watson. Mayor Rustad commented that he believed <br />Attorney Meyers did a fine job on behalf of Mounds View. <br />Attorney Meyers' Report <br />Attorney Meyers stated that he has the contracts furnished by the Highway <br />Department regarding the relocation of existing utilities because of New <br />STH 10 construction. <br />Engineer Boehm's Report <br />Engineer Boehm reflected on the meeting with the Highway Department on <br />October 6th in which they stated that they could not by law extend carrier <br />pipes for water and sewer under New STH10 so Mounds View could be assured <br />of providing the most economical service to the Watson property. The <br />possibility of using a lift station in the area at some future date also <br />exists, however, and will be studied at greater length. <br />
