- 2 - <br />MSP (Johnson /Rustad) To approve the use of the village hall December 2nd and <br />February 24th for the Mounds View DFL Club subject to the usual clean up <br />conditions. <br />3 Ayes <br />MSP (Blanchard /Johnson) To approve Resolution #464 apportioning the assessments <br />on Jim Lund Addition, Division #41093. 3 Ayes <br />MSP (Blanchard /Rustad) To deny the use of the village hall to Jerome Gierok <br />to conduct square dances due to other village projects and church requests. The <br />condition of the floor after use was another consideration. <br />A request by James Eigenheer, 2214 Terrace, to sell Christmas trees on residential <br />property was refused to be considered since trees can only be sold on commercial <br />property. <br />Councilman Johnson's Report <br />Councilman Johnson reported that NSSSD has established a plan to renegotiate <br />existing contracts, and that the Council should review it December 1st at the <br />agenda meeting. <br />Councilman Blanchard's Report <br />Councilman Blanchard, reporting for Councilman Hodges who was called out of town, <br />stated that a park planner would be at the December 10th recreation meeting. <br />Inspector Skiba stated that a few contractors have been double -fee'd lately for <br />failure to obtain permits before starting work. <br />Attorney Meyers' Report <br />Attorney Meyers presented a curfew ordinance which was tabled. <br />3 Ayes <br />MSP (Blanchard /Johnson) to adopt Ordinance #170 authorizing Ramsey County to <br />collect assessment payments of deferred installments for Mounds View. 3 Ayes <br />Attorney Meyers also read a memo regarding the connection of Brooklyn Park and <br />Maple Grove to the NSSSD. <br />MSP (Blanchard /Johnson) To authorize the attorney to attend the NSSSD meeting <br />November 25th. <br />Engineer Boehm's Report <br />Engineer Boehm reported on the preconstruction conference held November 20th at <br />the village hall. He also gave a brief progress report on Project 1968 -3. <br />Howard Neisen inquired into the zoning ordinance revisions suggested last spring <br />which provided a waiting period for rezoning re- requests.
