- 2 - <br />Councilman Maivin's Report <br />Councilman Malvin read the police report for September. <br />Councilman Hodges' Report <br />Councilman Hodges announced that the final meeting on the Brauer park plan <br />will be October 28th at 7:00 P.M. He also stated that there would be no <br />referendum this year for a park bond issue. <br />Councilman Blanchard's Re ort <br />MSP (Blanchard,4Ialvin) To approve the installation of a street light at the <br />intersection of Pleasant View Drive and County Road H and requesting County <br />participation in the cost. <br />Councilman Blanchard also stated that the NSSSD has settled on the worth of the <br />District and now will meet with the Metro Sewer Board to discuss the discrepancy <br />in figures. <br />Councilman Neisen's Report <br />Councilman Neisen questioned Inspector Skiba on the County Road I and Highway 10 <br />washout. No results yet. <br />Inspector Skiba's Report <br />Inspector Skiba warned of possible fire hazards resulting from persons installing <br />incinerators in their homes using Class B chimneys. <br />Attorney Meyers' Report <br />Attorney Meyers explained the possible impact of the Metro Sewer Bill on <br />influencing industry to locate in suburban areas due to competitive sewer <br />charges. <br />Engineer Boehm's Report <br />MSP (Blanchard /Hodges) To approve Change Order #1 Schedule C Project 1968 -3 <br />and a net increase in the contract amount of $7,353.92 and a net decrease of <br />$8,258.43 for a net decrease of $904.51. <br />MSP (Neisnen /Hodges) To approve check #053 for $49,197.63 the final estimate <br />to Krohn Drainage Company on Project 1968 -3 Schedule C entering into a one year <br />maintenance agreement subject to HUD concurrence. Completed contract price - <br />$270,196.63. <br />Engineer Boehm presented the preliminary report and cost estimate for Project <br />1970 -4 water extension on Silver Lake Road from TH10 South to County Road I. <br />Three plans were presented with estimated costs per foot of $6.05, $10.15 and <br />$11.52 per foot. White Oak Builders were to be contacted and informed of the <br />preliminary report in order to inform other affected property owners so that a <br />petition could be presented.
