PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />November 9, 1970 <br />The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Rustad at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, November 9,1970, at the Village Hall, <br />2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />Present: Also Present: <br />Mayor Rustad Clerk- Administrator Zylla <br />Councilman Malvin Attorney Meyers <br />Councilman Hodges Engineer Boehm <br />Councilman Blanchard <br />Councilman Neisen <br />MSP (Blanchard/Hodges) To approve the minutes of October 26, 1970. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Neisen/Rustad) To approve the minutes of November 4, 1970. 5 Ayes <br />At 8:05 P.M. a bid was opened on the 1971 police station wagon by Clerk - Administrator <br />Zylla. <br />MSP (Neisen /Blanchard) To accept the sole bid of Midway Ford for a 1971 Ranch <br />Wagon for a net price less trade of $3,227.00. A 5% bid bond accompanied the <br />bid. 5 Ayes <br />Resi ents Requests and Comments from the floor <br />Rpbert Glazer commenting on the Council minutes of October 26th regarding reduced <br />lot sizes stated that he felt it would decrease the value of the larger lots. He <br />thought the Council should hold a public hearing on the proposed amendment. <br />Mr. Baumgartner felt the change was being made on behalf of White Oak Builders. <br />Margaret Leenerts, 2323 County Road I, objected to the street and storm sewer <br />assessment on Greenwood Drive (Project 1970 -1 and 70 -3). She felt that the <br />new street only benefited the houses on Greenwood. She was referred to <br />Engineer Boehm for an explanation. <br />Clerk - Administrator Zylla's Report <br />MSP (Rustad /Hodges) To approve the following licenses: General Contractor - <br />House Clinic Store, Inc., Vo Co Construction; Excavating - Glenn Rehbein <br />Excavating, Inc. <br />MSP (Blanchard /Hodges) To approve the following bills: General Check #s <br />4603 -4675, Payroll Check #s 1739 -1758, WS- MINN -45 Check #s 061 -066 and <br />Bond Check # 588. Total disbursements - $48,227.39. <br />MSP (Neisen /Rustad) To set a public hearing to vacate the 11 MOL walkway <br />between Lots 8 and 9, 23 and 24 Block 1 and 8 and 9, 24 and 25 Block 2 <br />Pinewood Terrace for December 14th at 8:30 P.M. <br />Councilman Malvinas Report <br />Councilman Malvin read the police report for October. <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />
