PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />December 14, 1970 <br />The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Rustad at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, December 14, 1970, at the Village Hall, <br />2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />Present: <br />Mayor Rustad <br />Councilman Malvin <br />Councilman Hodges <br />Councilman Blanchard <br />Councilman Neisen <br />Also Present: <br />Clerk - Administrator Zylla <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Engineer Boehm <br />MSP (Blanchard /Neisen) To approve the minutes of November 23, 1970. 5 Ayes <br />Residents Requests and Comments from the floor <br />MSP (Malvin /Hodges) To issue two building permits to Michael Rich of T.M. <br />Willmus Construction Company for two 35 unit apartment buildings subject to the <br />approval of all construction plans by our inspection department and the fire <br />department. Buildings are located West of the intersection of Long Lake Road <br />and County Road H2. <br />Roger Baumgartner questioned the authenticity of the building code since some <br />items were crossed out with other items writteniin. Information was given that <br />all changes were per ordinance amendments. <br />Clerk - Administrator Zylla's Report <br />MSP (Rustad /Hodges) To approve the following licenses: Excavator - Harry <br />Koalska Contr. Co.; Heating - Swenson Heating & Air Conditioning; General <br />Contractor - Pierson - Whitney, Inc. and R. D. Welty & Sons. <br />MSP (Blanchard /Malvin) To approve the following bills: General Checks #4718- <br />4760, Payroll Checks #1786 -1806, Bond Check # 589 and WS- MINN -45 Checks # 069, <br />072 and 073. Total disbursements $227,455.77. <br />MSP (Rustad /Malvin) To approve Resolution #506 apportioning the assessments <br />on Division #42504 for Ex N 100' of Lot 91 and all of 92 Spring Lake Park Knolls <br />Addition. <br />Councilman Malvin's Report <br />Councilman Malvin read the police report for November. <br />Councilman Blanchard's Report <br />Councilman Blanchard talked about the satisfying results achieved by the NSSSD and <br />staff this last year of operation.
