Total disbursements <br />$131,541.11. <br />Page 2 <br />5 Ayes <br />MSP (Johnson /Pickar) To appoint Richard Paradise as agent for the Village of <br />Mounds View at no salary, to serve in the capacity of electrician, ratifying any <br />of his past actions performed on behalf of the Village. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Hodges /Baumgartner) To adopt Resolution No. 560 apportioning the assessments <br />on Division No. 44268. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Neisen /Pickar) To adopt Resolution No. 561 apportioning the assessments <br />on Division No. 44262. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Hodges /Johnson) To adopt Ordinance No. 193, combining the positions of <br />Clerk and Treasurer. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Pickar /Johnson) To authorize a $50,000 corporate surety bond on Clerk - <br />Treasurer Zylla, and to cancel the $50,000 corporate bond on Irene Edberg, <br />effective February 1, 1972. <br />5 Ayes <br />MSP (Johnson /Hodges) To authorize any three of the following four individuals <br />to sign checks on behalf of the Village of Mounts View: Mayor Neisen, Councilman <br />Hodges, Councilman Johnson, Clerk- Administrator Zylla. 5 Ayes <br />Councilman Hodges' Report <br />Councilman Hodges reported that there will be a Recreation Committee Meeting on <br />January 12th. He stated that he has enjoyed serving as the Committee's Chairman <br />since 1960, and he wishes Councilman Baumgartner success as its new Chairman. <br />Councilman Johnson's Report <br />MSP (Johnson /Pickar) To authorize Attorney Meyers to begin codifying the Village <br />ordinances at a figure not to exceed $4,000.00, and in the event the per diems are <br />less, the benefit of the lower total cost is to accrue to the Village. The <br />codification is to be completed in six months. <br />Councilman Johnson thanked Clerk Zylla for his assistance while he served as the <br />Council representative for the office. <br />Councilman Baumgartner's Report <br />Councilman Baumgartner thanked Councilman Hoes for his assistance on the Recreation <br />Committee, and stated he was looking forward to his new assignment. <br />Councilman Pickar's Report <br />Councilman Pickar stated that he had attended a Lakeside Park Commission meeting <br />on January 5th. He felt that the Commission needed more opinions from the public <br />on how to administor the budget of the Lakeside Park Commission. <br />Attorney Meyers' Report <br />Attorney Meyers reported that he has been contacted by the Metropolitan Sewer Board, <br />and that he will be meeting with them this week to discuss the items outlined in <br />Resolution No. 559, relative to our current bill and NSSSD credit. <br />5 Ayes <br />
