- 3 - <br />Mr. Ted Moore stated there had been several parties at the apartment building <br />already, even people using the pool. <br />MSP (Neisen /Baumgartner) To authorize Inspector Skiba to red tag 5445 Jackson <br />Drive because they are in violation of our building code by allowing people to <br />move into the apartment building without a certificate of completion. <br />MSP (Baumgartner /Johnson) Not to grant a certificate of completion to Brama at <br />5445 Jackson Drive until all necessary easements are signed and covenants put on <br />the land are signed as agreed upon and in the hands of Attorney Meyers by Friday, <br />February 18th. Inspector Skiba to also approve. <br />Attorney Meyers stated that if they did not comply one citation could be issued <br />to each resident. Inspector Skiba would get the names and apartment numbers of <br />those living there. <br />Attorney Meyers will state in his letter to Attorney Persian that there are to <br />be no more parties and the pool has to be locked up until a certificate of <br />completion has been issued at 5445 Jackson Drive. <br />Councilman Johnson asked Inspector Skiba why we allowed anyone to move into the <br />apartment before it was complete. Mr. Skiba replied they had moved in without <br />his knowledge. He had first learned about them living in the apartment when he <br />had made an inspection tour with Ron Fagerstrom, the Fire Chief, on Thursday. <br />He estimated there had been tenants in the apartment since about the 1st of <br />February. <br />Attorney Meyers - No report. <br />Engineer Boehm's Report <br />Engineer Boehm stated he had not received the plans from the State Highway <br />Department as yet for street construction in 1972 so no bid date could be set. <br />Hopefully by the next Council meeting he would have the plans. <br />Mayor Neisen announced that the Mounds View Appreciation Dinner would be held <br />Saturday, February 19th. <br />Mayor Neisen announced that the Human Rights Commission, which meets monthly <br />now, has a hard time getting members and doesn't seem to have enough work to do. <br />He suggested cutting the number of required members and perhaps they could meet <br />yearly and whenever necessary after that. <br />MSP (Neisen /Baumgartner) To amend Ordinance #166A to five members, and to have <br />one meeting in January and thereafter meeting as necessary when called by the <br />Chairman. <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />MSP (Hodges /Johnson) To adjourn at 8:45 P.M. 5 Ayes <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />Dorothy Sa dgren, <br />Utility Billing Clerk <br />
