- 3 - <br />MSP (Johnson /Pickar) That permission be given to use the Village property <br />for parking on July 9, 1972 for the Polka Festival, with the following <br />stipulations: <br />The permit issued should include the place, date <br />and hours of operation. <br />A $300.00 donation for parking is to be paid by the <br />sponsors. <br />No parking shall be allowed on any ball diamonds or <br />other designated property. <br />The Council shall establish how many off -duty policemen <br />will be necessary upon the recommendation of the Chief <br />of Police, and the sponsors will abide by the decision. <br />The hours for beer pales should be stipulated, with <br />outside beer sales ceasing at 9:30 P.M. <br />A bond to guarantee any damage, expense or repairs in <br />the amount of $1,000.00 should be posted by the <br />sponsors, to be released subject to the recommendation <br />of the Maintenance Superintendent and the Administrator. <br />All bands shall cease playing out of doors at 10:00 <br />P.M. <br />The sponsors and off -duty police will assist in ridding <br />the area of any campers at the conclusion of the event. 5 Ayes <br />Councilman Johnson stated that the $300.00 donation for parking should be <br />designated to the Park Capital Improvement Fund. <br />MSP (Johnson /Hodges) To close the hearing at 9:12 P.M. 5 Ayes <br />Councilman Hodges Report <br />Councilman Hodges reported that the Mounds View Lions Easter Egg Hunt would <br />be on April 1st, and that he will be contacting the Civil Defense Director <br />for the use of the truck that day. He would also like to have the large <br />snow banks in Wayside Park removed, if possible, by that date. <br />Councilman Johnson's Report <br />Councilman Johnson stated that the summer work schedule has been formulated <br />and accordingly additional manpower is needed. <br />MSP (Johnson /Baumgartner) To advertise for a full -time and one part -time <br />man. 5 Ayes <br />
