PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />April 10, 1972 <br />The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Neisen at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, April 10, 1972 at the Village Hall, 2401 <br />Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />Present: <br />Mayor Neisen <br />Councilman Hodges <br />Councilman Johnson <br />Councilman Baumgartner <br />Councilman Pickar <br />Also Present: <br />Clerk - Administrator Zylla <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Engineer Boehm <br />MSP (Hodges /Pickar) To approve the minutes of March 27th, 1972 corrected to <br />read in first sentence Councilman Pickar's Report "April 19th ". 5 Ayes <br />Residents Requests and Comments from the floor <br />Harry Gum presented a request for a street light on Greenwood between County <br />Road I and Hillview Road. <br />Mayor Neisen's Report <br />Mayor Neisen read the police report for March. <br />Mayor Neisen announced that 102 Ordinance #92 (junk car) warnings and ten <br />Ordinance #55 (garbage) warnings were issued today. 125 junk cars were involved <br />in the ticketing. The police are to continue tagging tomorrow North of TH 10 <br />and East of Long Lake Road. <br />Mayor Neisen stated that the Mounds View Snowmobile Club had presented a check <br />for $300 to the Village to be used on the Village parks. <br />Clerk - Administrator Zylla's Report <br />MSP (Neisen /Hodges) To approve the following licenses: Excavating - Lloyd's <br />Excavating; Plastering & Outside Stucco - Floyd Peterson Stucco & Plastering; <br />Garbage /Rubbish Hauler - Reamer's Rubbish Removal, Suburban Pickup Service Inc, <br />and J & W Pickup Service. <br />MSP (Pickar/Baumgartner).' To approve the following bills: General checks #5989 <br />consecutive through 6033 and Payroll checks #2647 consecutive through 2667. <br />Total disbursements $2 ,5,693.92. <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla announced the receipt of the signed permit from the <br />Minnesota Ballroom Operators Association which sets forth the conditions for <br />the July 9th Polka Festival. A signed statement was also received releasing <br />Mounds View of any property damage or personal injury liability. <br />Councilman Hodges' Report <br />Councilman Hodges stated that he has received two calls, one requesting a fence <br />for Hillview Park and one inquiring about when the streets will be swept. <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />
