PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />May 22, 1972 <br />a <br />The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Neisen at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, May 22, 1972 at the Village Hall, 2401 <br />Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />Present: <br />Mayor Neisen <br />Councilman Hodges <br />Councilman Johnson <br />Councilman Baumgartner <br />Councilman Pickar <br />Also Present: <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Engineer Boehm <br />MSP (Hodges - Baumgartner) To approve the minutes of May 8th, 1972 corrected to read <br />on Page 3, 2nd paragraph "opposition primarily of the added parking it would <br />generate ". 5 Ayes <br />Residents Requests and Comments from the Floor: <br />MSP (Neisen- Hodges) To approve the transfer of the on sale intoxicating liquor <br />license, the Sunday liquor license, the off -sale intoxicating liquor license, the <br />restaurant license and the off -sale non - intoxicating liquor license from <br />Robert and Gerald Waste to Albert and Joseph Hartinger, doing business as the <br />Launching Pad Supper Club, effective' June 1st, 1972 and the issuance of a <br />cigarette license and cabaret license, subject to payment of fees and the <br />proof of transfer of ownership. 5 Ayes <br />Mayor Neisen's Report <br />Mayor Neisen announced for the months of June, July and August the agenda meeting <br />would be scheduled for only the 1st Monday of each month due to vacation <br />schedules, army reserve committments, and a wedding. <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla's Report <br />MSP (Pickar- Hodges) To approve the following licenses: <br />Asphalt - B & H Blacktopping Inc.; Plastering & Outside Stucco - Frogner Drywall <br />Co.; General Contractor - G. James Const., Mar -Son Const., Ahlandale Builders, Inc.; <br />Restaurant - John Hulteen d /b /a Country Kitchen; Set -Up License and Dance <br />License - Anton E. Jambor d /b /a Bel -Rae Ballroom; Off Sale Intoxicating Liquor <br />License - Simon T. Simon d /b /a Simon's Liquor Store, Inc., Rita M. Waste d /b /a <br />B & R Liquor; Cabaret License & Off Sale Intoxicating Liquor License - <br />Donald J. Marrone d /b /a Mermaid Lounge, Inc., and Anthony Donatelle d /b /a <br />Donatelle's Supper Club. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Hodges - Baumgartner) To approve the following bills: General checks No. <br />6104 consecutive through 6140. Total disbursements $18,870.76. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Johnson - Pickar) To approve the transfer of $6,590.00, check No. 6141 from <br />the General Furid to the MSA Bor}d Fund to correct the bank deposit of May 12th, <br />1972. 5 Ayes <br />A request by Keith Harstad for the issuance of a special use permit to remove <br />fill from a Site North of Ridge Lane between Long Lake Road and Sunnyside Road <br />
