PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />JUNE 26, 1972 <br />[e Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor <br />Neisen at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, June 26, 1972 at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10, <br />St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />Present: <br />Mayor Neisen <br />Councilman Hodges <br />Councilman Baumgartner <br />Absent: <br />Councilman Johnson <br />Councilman Pickar <br />Also Present: <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Engineer Boehm <br />MSP (Hodges - Baumgartner) To approve the minutes of June 12, 1972. 3 Ayes <br />Residents Requests and Comments from the Floor: <br />Bev Johnson and Fran Nelson, representing the Mounds View Mrs Jaycees presented a <br />check for $80.00 to Mayor Neisen, which is to be used for some capital improvement on <br />the Wayside Park. The Mrs Jaycees informed the Council that they were no longer <br />going to function as an organization due to a lack of membership participation. <br />Mayor Neisen and Councilman Hodges thanked the Mrs Jaycees for their check and their <br />past support. <br />Julius Bonello, Mario Bonello, Donald Nordbloom, and William Beim appeared on behalf <br />if Century Motor Freight to request issuance of a special use permit for a motor <br />freight terminal in Section 17. Attorney Meyers read the special use permit <br />agreement and the developers answered questions to the effect that a 6 foot wire <br />woven fence would be installed as required by Item No. 4, that truck washwater <br />would be disposed of into the municipal sanitary sewer system, and that every attempt <br />would be made by them to police the 10 m.p.h. speed limit restriction set out in <br />Item No. 10. <br />A site plan which was previously approved by the Planning Commission, was presented <br />and made a part of the special use permit agreement. <br />MSP (Hodges- Baumgartner) To issue a special use permit to Frank, Julius and Mario <br />Bonello, doing business as Century Motor Freight, authorizing Mayor Neisen and <br />Clerk Zylla to execute the agreement on behalf of the Village while sending a copy <br />of the special use permit agreement to the Pollution Control Agency for their <br />review. <br />Thomas Boemer and Ervin Herbst requested conditional approval of construction plans <br />for a building to be occupied by Herbst and Sons Construction. Mayor Neisen <br />directed both men to the Wednesday Planning Commission meeting for their prior <br />consideration. <br />Richard Harstad and Allen Westling appeared as representatives of Community One to <br />explain the purpose of Community One and to seek a Mounds View representative on a <br />table TV study currently in process. The Council stated they would discuss their <br />suggestion for a representative and inform them at a later date of their decision. <br />3 Ayes <br />
