Clerk Zylla stated <br />:hat claims were received from each of these individuals. <br />MSP (Johnson- Pickar) To instruct Attorney Meyers to check into the claims submitted <br />by these residents relative to sewer backup with the hope that settlement can be <br />reached by October 24, 1972. <br />Robert Ehlers verified that the First National Bank of St. Paul was the lowest bidder <br />and recommended acceptance of the bid. <br />MSP (Johnson - Hodges) To accept the recommendation of the fiscal agent and to adopt <br />Resolution #580 awarding the sale of $385,000 Temporary Improvement Bonds to the <br />First National Bank of St. Paul. <br />Mayor Neisen's Report <br />Mayor Neisen read the Police Report for September. <br />Mayor Neisen read a letter inviting him to a Eagle Scout ceremony for Todd Holm on <br />October 13th, 1972. He stated he would not be able to attend but extended his best <br />wishes. <br />Councilman Johnson's Report <br />Councilman Johnson inquired as to whether anything new was heard about Sergeant John <br />Kardell and whether the painting salesman which operated out of the Gulf Station had <br />to be licensed. Clerk Zylla informed the Council that it appeared he would need a <br />license and that he would ask the Police to notify the seller of the ordinance. Co. 5 Ayes <br />MSP ( Pickar- Baumgartner) To approve the following bills: General checks #6533 thru <br />#6574 and Payroll checks #2958 thru #2979. Total disbursements $21,066.06. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Baumgartner- Hodges) To approve the following election judges for the general <br />election on November 7, 1972. Precinct 1: Marilyn Benolkin, Evonne Tauer, Jane Nunn, <br />Pearl Falck, Gladys Roberts; Counters - Joan Godeke, Isabelle Wille, Helen Kuntz, <br />Marion Winther, Barbara Haake, Donna Turner, Edith Johnson, Marlene Nickel, Lucille <br />Anderson, Henrietta Hjelle.
