Falck; Counters - Donna Fearing, Cathy Westling, Vivian Hjelm, Ralph Hanggi, <br />Phyllis Page, Linda Grant. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Pickar- Baumgartner) To sell the 3M -209 copier to Dick Paradise, 5091 Eastwood <br />Road for $75.00. 5 Ayes <br />Clerk Zylla informed the Council that he had attended the Arden Hills Village Council <br />meeting on October 9th, 1972. He stated that at that meeting the Council had moved <br />to provide sewer service to the Easterly 1/2 of the high school property and the <br />Easterly 1/2 of the 70 acres of land North of 694 and East of 35 W, thereby enhancing <br />the possibility of blocking New Brighton's request to have their trunk sewer acquired <br />as a metropolitan interceptor. Clerk Zylla stated that he was anticipating testifying <br />before the Referral Committee meeting on October 19th, 1972 in opposition and requested <br />the Council to allow Mr. Meyers to become involved in this matter to whatever extent <br />necessary. <br />MSP (Hodges- Johnson) To authorize Attorney Meyers to assist Clerk Zylla in opposition <br />to New Brighton's request for sewer interceptor buy out. 5 Ayes <br />Clerk Zylla announced that for the November 7th election, incumbent John Pickar would <br />be running for the three year Council term against former Councilman Perry Malvin. <br />Councilman Baumgartner's Report <br />: ouncilman Baumgartner read the Planning Commission minutes of September 27th, 1972. <br />MSP (Baumgartner - Pickar) To concur with the Planning Commission recommendation to <br />deny the subdivision request of Alphonse Petron to subdivide the East 1/2 of Lot 21, <br />Knollwood Park Addition. <br />MSP (Neisen - Baumgartner) To set a public hearing to consider the issuance of a <br />special use permit to Mobil Oil to construct a service station at the SE intersection <br />of Highway #10 and Silver Lake Road, for November 13th at 9:00 P,M. <br />MSP (Pickar - Hodges) To set a public hearing to consider the request of Edwin Dropps <br />to rezone from R1 to B1 the South 186 feet of Lot 96, Knollwood Park Addition, for <br />November 27th at 8 :30 P.M. <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />MSP (Baumgartner- Johnson) To approve the subdivision request of J.
