PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />November 13, 1972 <br />he Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor <br />Neisen at 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 24, 1972 at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway <br />#10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />Present: <br />Mayor Neisen <br />Councilman Baumgartner <br />Councilman Pickar <br />Councilman Johnson <br />Councilman Hodges <br />Also Present: <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Engineer Boehm <br />MSP (Pickar - Baumgartner) To approve the minutes of October 24th and November 8th, <br />1972. 5 Ayes <br />Residents Requests and Comments From the Floor: <br />Mr. Tom Dougherty, President of the Mounds View Jaycees announced that the Jaycees would <br />be donating a wreath to the Village Hallo Mayor Neisen thanked Mr. Dougherty and the <br />Jaycees. <br />Mr. Dougherty asked a number of questions about the proposed industrial revenue bond <br />issue which is tentatively set between Century Motor Freight, Miller - Schroeder, and <br />he Village of Mounds View. Attorney Meyers and Councilman Johnson responded to Mr. <br />Dugherty's questions assuring him that while there are a number of things yet to be <br />done before the bond issue will be sold, the Village is proceeding with caution and taking <br />any necessary steps to protect the interest of residents. <br />Mayor Neisen stated that the Council met with a representative of Century Motor Freight <br />on October 26th at which time the Council gave approval to Century Motor Freight to begin <br />construction on the facility. The meeting was requested by Century Motor Freight after <br />the Council refused to allow construction. (See October 24th, 1972 minutes.) <br />Robert Eigenheer appeared to request approval of the subdivision of Lot 1, Block 1 <br />Eigenheer 3rd Addition. Mr. Eigenheer was informed to follow procedures and appear at <br />the next Planning Commission meeting. <br />Mr. Eibensteiner requested permission to build a model house on the North side of Ridge <br />Lane a few hundred feet East of Sunnyside on the property owned by Keith Harstad. There <br />is presently a home on the parcel of property located at 2650 County Road H2. <br />MSP (Johnson- Hodges) Not to issue a building permit for the model house requested by <br />Mr. Eibensteiner until the final plat for the area bordered by Ridge Lane on the South, <br />Sunnyside Road on the West, County Road H2 on the North, and Long Lake Road on the East, <br />is approved and signed by the Village. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Baumgartner - Pickar) To recess the regular meeting at 8:36 P.M. 5 Ayes <br />
