PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />December 26, 1972 <br />r Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor Neisen <br />8 :00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 26, 1972 at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, <br />Minnesota 55112. <br />Present: <br />Mayor Neisen <br />Councilman Baumgartner <br />Councilman Hodges <br />Councilman Johnson <br />Councilman Pickar <br />Also Present: <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Absent: <br />Engineer Boehm <br />MSP (Hodges - Pickar) To approve the minutes of December llth, 1972. 5 Ayes <br />Residents Requests and Comments from the Floor: <br />MSP (Baumgartner - Hodges) To approve the final plat of Red Oak Estates Plat No. 2 subject <br />to placing a covenant on Lots 2 and 18, Block 1 stating that there will be no more than <br />nine 8 unit townhouse buildings on the lots and there will be 300 feet of common area from <br />Long Lake Road West into Lot 18, and authorizing the Clerk to sign it. 5 Ayes <br />Approval of a grading plan for Red Oak Estates Plat No. 2 was tabled until the Engineer is <br />present. <br />(Hodges - Pickar) To recess the regular meeting at 8:30 P.M. 5 Ayes <br />Mayor Neisen called the special hearing to consider the Mounds View Municipal Code to order <br />at 8:30 P.M. Clerk Zylla read the legal notice published in the New Brighton Bulletin <br />December 14th, 1972. <br />Attorney Meyers reviewed the Code with the Council, noting that two new ordinances were <br />incorporated into the Code, a sign ordinance and a swimming pool ordinance. <br />Four copies of the Code were presented. <br />MSP (Johnson- Baumgartner) To adopt Ordinance No. 196 adopting the Municipal Code of the <br />Village of Mounds View as amended to read Code review "on at least a "quarterly" basis ". 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Pickar- Johnson) To adjourn the special hearing at 9 :00 P.M. 5 Ayes <br />Clerk - Administrator Zylla's Report <br />MSP (Hodges- Baumgartner) To approve the following licenses: <br />Cigarette - Mounds View 76, B & R Grocery, Dick's Clark Super "100 ", Tom Thumb Superette <br />"110, Long Lake Phillips 66 Service, Bel -Rae Ballroom; Gasoline Station - Mounds View 76, <br />°s. ads View Standard, Highway #10 Service, Dick's Clark Super "100 ", Long Lake 66 Service; <br />:ral Contractor - B. E. Enterprises, Inc., Shelter Homes Corporation, Dimensional <br />.1ders, Inc., Great Plains Homes; Liquor License On Sale Intoxicating - Launching Pad <br />
