-2- <br />Mrs. Kathy Wallace asked why the Council is jamming it down our throats? She stated <br />considerable expense is involved to home owners. The Council replied that the total <br />expense involved is changing your house number and mail box number. <br />Mayor Neisen added that the Council was trying to make a reasonable change which <br />affected the least amount of people. <br />Mr. Harold Hjelle, 5161 Red Oak Drive stated Red Oak Drive is numbered wrong too. <br />Mayor Neisen replied that that situation will be corrected at a later date. <br />Mrs. Haake felt the Council should uniform the entire Village and change everybody, <br />Councilman Baumgartner questioned Mr. Ausse on the Metropolitan System and zero <br />coodinates. <br />Councilman Pickar stated that unless the Metropolitan Council or Post Office comes <br />up with a total system, the proposed change would affect the least number of people. <br />Councilman Baumgartner replied that the change advocated tonight doesn't satisfy <br />the overall problem, but it does satisfy our immediate problem, getting services to <br />people. <br />Councilman Johnson said this is the third hearing, and at the second one in July <br />he advocated a total renumbering. He felt the plan as presented tonight was pretty <br />good. <br />Councilman Hodges replied that you can't measure saving a life in dollars. He <br />supported the change. <br />Mayor Neisen declared that the change proposed created the least problems.
