- 2 <br />MSP ( Pickar- Baumgartner) To adjourn the special hearing at 8:34 P.M. 5 Ayes <br />attorney Meyers was excused. <br />MSP (Hodges - Baumgartner) To approve the minutes of January 8th and 15th. <br />4 Ayes <br />Johnson Abstained <br />on approval of <br />Jan. 8th minutes. <br />Mayor Neisen instructed the Clerk to check to insure that no new house numbers (reference <br />January 15th minutes) were the same as old house numbers. <br />Mayor Neisen's Report <br />Mayor Neisen read letters of thanks to the Village Council from the North Suburban Day <br />Activity Center for their 1973 contribution, and from the New Brighton Bank for being <br />appointed depository in 1973. <br />Mayor Neisen read exerpts from the 1972 annual police report. He commended the police <br />for the fine job they have done with the youth of the community. <br />MSP (Neisen-Hodges) To appoint David L. Brick police patrolman effective February <br />16th as recommended by the Police Civil Service Commission. <br />5 Ayes <br />'lerk-Administrator Zylla's Report <br />MSP (Hodges- Johnson) To approve the following licenses: General Contractor - Evans <br />International Homes. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Pickax- Johnson) To approve the following bills: General Fund checks #6935 thru <br />#6991, Payroll checks #3158 - 3193, Payroll Account checks 1001 and 1002, and check <br />#6934 transferring $8,346.20 from General Fund, $945.51 from Sewer Utility, and $949.50 <br />from Water Utility to the Payroll Account to pay gross pay of January 30, 1973. Total <br />disbursements excluding transfer check #6934 $28,987.10. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Johnson- Baumgartner) To adopt Resolution No. 592 apportioning the assessments <br />on Division No. 45925. <br />MSP (Hodges - Pickar) To accept the 1972 financial statement from the Clerk and to <br />authorize its publication in abbreviated form. <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />Councilman Hodges' Report <br />Councilman Hodges noted that he has received complaints from certain residents recently <br />about garbage pickup delays and dogs. The Clerk was directed to send a letter to <br />J & W Pickup regarding the garbage problem. <br />
