He <br />informed the Council that the State Tax Commissioner has not placed an <br />across - the -board increase on Mounds View real property for this year although <br />other communities are experiencing increases of 10 to 15 percent. <br />Councilman Hodges, reporting on funding for emergency centers, informed the <br />Council that federal funds could be obtained on a matching basis for the <br />area constructed below ground. <br />5 Ayes <br />Councilman Johnson's Report <br />Councilman Johnson reported that he and Clerk Zylla attended a meeting with <br />the Public Works Department on May 16th, and on that same day, they saw Mr. <br />Julius Bonello, president of Century Motor Freight, to discuss the possibility <br />of an open house at their new terminal as a means of obtaining some publicity <br />for the Village of Mounds View since Century's facility was financed by <br />Village Industrial Revenue Bonds. <br />Councilman Johnson declared that he has reason to suspect there is a violation <br />of certain building code regulations at 5140 Long Lake Road. <br />MSP (Johnson - Baumgartner) To direct the building inspector to examine the <br />situation and to take whatever steps he deems appropriate. 5 Ayes <br />Councilman Johnson asked Engineer Bearden whether well #2 was being repaired. <br />Engineer Bearden informed Councilman Johnson that he had examined the well on <br />
