Councilman Baumgartner's Report <br />The Mayor and Councilman Baumgartner received a check from the Mounds View <br />Jaycees presented by Mr. Tom Dougherty to be used by the Park and Recreation <br />Department. Councilman Baumgartner read portions of the Recreation Commission <br />minutes of August 16th and 23rd. <br />MSP (Baumgartner- Hodges) To direct the Engineer to prepare grading plans for <br />Woodcrest Park and Greenfield Park and to pay for the plans through the use <br />of revenue sharing funds. <br />Councilman Baumgartner received an estimated completion date of two weeks <br />for the Greenfield Park grading plan. <br />Councilman Baumgartner read the Planning Commission minutes of August 22, 1973. <br />Motion to approve the preliminary plat of JR0 Estates was withdrawn. The <br />Clerk was asked to invite a representative for JRO Estates and Korsgaden <br />Addition to the agenda meeting to discuss the possibility of a drainage <br />problem on their lots. <br />MSP (Neisen- Hodges) To set a hearing to consider rescinding the action of <br />the Village Council dated March 12th in which the Council moved to rezone <br />property from R1 to B3 for Louis Gydeson to construct an Anchor Inn. The <br />property is south of County Road H2 bordered on the West by Edgewood Drive <br />and on the East by Greenfield Avenue. The hearing is to be scheduled for <br />8:30 P.M. September 24, 1973. <br />Councilman Pickar's Report <br />Councilman Pickar reported on the Lakeside Park Commissions August meeting. <br />On questions about the $2,000.00 contribution to Lakeside Park made by Anoka <br />County, the Clerk was instructed to inquire from Ramsey County the possibility <br />of contributing a like amount to Lakeside Park. <br />Attorney Meyers' Report <br />Attorney Meyers stated that he is still holding in his file the easement <br />relative to the Gulf Station on Highway Avenue and the Willmus Construction <br />Company easement relocation relative to Scotland Green Apartments. <br />Engineer Bearden's Report <br />Page 3 <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />MSP (Neisen- Hodges) To receive the preliminary report and cost estimate for <br />sanitary sewer, water, streets, and storm sewer Project 1973 -4. 5 Ayes <br />Mrs. Wallace, 2783 Sherwood Road asked about a solution to a drainage problem <br />to the rear of her lot. After lengthy discussion, the Council authorized the <br />Clerk to contact Mr. Arvid Birkeland to ascertain whether or not he will make <br />
