PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />November 12, 1973 <br />A Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Neisen at 8:00 P.M. on November 12, 1973, at the Mounds View Village <br />Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />Present: <br />Mayor Neisen <br />Councilman Hodges <br />Councilman Baumgartner <br />Councilman Johnson <br />Councilman Pickar <br />Also Present: <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Engineer Bearden <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla <br />MSP ( Pickar- Baumgartner) To approve the minutes of October 23, 1973 and <br />November 7, 1973. 5 Ayes <br />Mayor Neisen's Report <br />Mayor Neisen read a letter from George Richardson, Principal of Red Oak <br />School, thanking the Council for the tentative support they have given for <br />a temporary classroom building at Red Oak School. <br />Mayor Neisen read a petition from several residents in the vicinity of Jackson <br />Drive and County Road H2 opposed to the establishment of a truck terminal east <br />of the Launching Pad parking lot. They requested a public hearing before any <br />permit be issued. Mayor Neisen explained that he knew of no request for a <br />truck terminal at this location and signing this petition was unnecessary. <br />Mayor Neisen read the Police Report for October. <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla's Report <br />MSP (Johnson - Baumgartner) To approve the licenses: Asphalt - G. W. Holm Co., <br />Pavemaster's Inc; General Contractor - B & E Fence Co., F. P. Lutz & Co., <br />Anoka Co. Roofing Inc., Leslie Tranby Roofing & Siding, Menard's Agri Bldgs., <br />DaVerne Corporation; Heating & Air Conditioning - Barry's Heating & Air <br />Conditioning; Masonry - A. A. Construction; Plaster /Stucco - Bob Johnson <br />Stucco Co; Sewer & Water - Spriggs Plumbing & Heating; Peddler & Solicitor - <br />Sheryl L. Severson. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Hodges - Pickar) To approve the bills: General Fund check #7850 thru <br />7950, Payroll Account checks #1053 & #1054. Payroll checks #630 thru #654, <br />and transfer check #7951 transferring $10,472.89 to pay gross pay of November <br />15, 1973. From General - $8,186.08, from Water - $1,379.00, from Sewer - <br />$907.81. Total disbursements $29,669.18 <br />MSP (Baumgartner- Hodges) To adopt Resolution No. 615 approving the entering <br />into a joint powers agreement with School District #621 to allow the Village <br />5 Ayes <br />
