-3- <br />MSP (Hodges - Pickar) Accepting the petition for improvement for water and <br />storm drainage in Programmed Land 1st Addition, incorporating the improvement <br />with Street Improvement Project 1973 -6, ordering the improvement, and directing <br />the engineer to prepare final plans and specifications. 5 Ayes <br />Attorney Meyers presented a copy of an agreement to be entered into between <br />Programmed Land and the City of Mounds View in which Programmed Land agrees <br />to pay the City $8,500.00 in conformance with Municipal Code No. 42.07 (2). <br />Mr. Edes took the copies and indicated that the agreement seemed satisfactory to <br />him, but he would submit them to his attorney for his review. <br />MSP (Neisen - Hodges) To approve the final plat of Programmed Land 1st Addition <br />and to authorize the Administrator to sign it subject to the receipt of the <br />agreement between the City of Mounds View and Programmed Land relative to the <br />cash dedication for park land and the receipt of the first payment. <br />Mayor Neisen's Report <br />5 Ayes <br />MSP (Neisen - Baumgartner) To grant an amendment to the peddlers license for <br />Daniel McFarlane to sell fire extinguishers. 5 Ayes <br />Mayor Neisen announced that the Ramsey County Delegation will be meeting on <br />Tuesday, January 29, 1974, from 7:30 to 9:30 P.M. at the State Capitol. <br />Mayor Neisen acknowledged receipt of letters from the First State Bank of <br />New Brighton and the New Brighton Bulletin thanking the City for being reappointed <br />depository and official newspaper respectively. <br />Mayor Neisen read a letter from Chairman Bernard of the Gas Regulatory Board <br />indicating specific objections to House File #1835 relating to State utility <br />regulation. <br />MSP (Neisen- Baumgartner) To appoint Larry Decheine as acting Public Works <br />Superintendent for the City of Mounds View at a salary over and above his normal <br />salary at $75.00 per month effective January 1, 1974 subject to the approval <br />of the City's labor consultant Cy Smythe. <br />Mayor Neisen directed that letters be sent to all persons that have applied <br />for the Public Works Superintendentposition notifying them that the position <br />has been filled. <br />5 Ayes <br />MSP (Johnson - Pickar) To advertise for a Public Works employee with a class "B" <br />waterworks operators license. 5 Ayes <br />Administrator Zylla's Report <br />MSP (Hodges- Baumgartner) To approve the bills: General Fund checks #8156 thru <br />#8185, Payroll Account checks #1066 and #1069, payroll checks #786 thru #834. <br />Transfer check #8186 transferring $2,880.00 to Improvement Bond Fund from 1971 -1 <br />Construction Fund to close out 1971 -1 Construction Fund.
