PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A Regular Meeting of the Mounds View City Council was called to order by Mayor <br />Neisen at 8:00 P.M. on March 11, 1974 at the Mounds View City Hall, 2401 Highway <br />#10, Mounds View, Minnesota 55112. <br />Present: <br />Mayor Neisen <br />Councilman Hodges <br />Councilman Baumgartner <br />Councilman Johnson <br />Councilman Pickar <br />Also Present: <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Engineer Bearden <br />MSP (Neisen - Pickar) To approve the subdivision request of Donovan Wendt to <br />subdivide Spring Lake Park Knolls Addition Lot 82 and 81 except therefrom the <br />south 38 feet, into except the west 130 feet thereof, thereby creating a lot <br />90 feet with a 40 foot easement subject to an agreement between Mr. Wendt and <br />Attorney Meyers on the value of ten feet of the 40 foot easement, and subject <br />to Council ratification. <br />MSP (Neisen- Hodges) To set a special meeting for 7:00 P.M., March 18th, to <br />ratify the above mentioned agreement between Mr. Wendt and Attorney Meyers, <br />and if there is no agreement, then to cancel the meeting automatically. <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />Mayor Neisen's Report <br />Mayor Neisen read a letter of resignation from police officer, Wayne Thompson. <br />MSP (Neisen- Hodges) To accept the resignation of Wayne Thompson effective March <br />15, 1974. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Hodges - Baumgartner) To approve the minutes of the special meeting to consider <br />the addition and alteration to the municipal building of February 25, 1974. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Hodges - Baumgartner) To approve the minutes of the regular meeting of <br />February 25th, and the special meeting to consider the motor freight terminal <br />special use permit for Smith Transfer Corporation. <br />Mr. Robert Eibensteiner, appeared to request the vacation of five feet of a twenty <br />(20) foot easement for sanitary sewer in order to build a $51,000.00 home on <br />Lot 40, Block 1, Red Oak Estates No. 2. The sewer main was originally constructed <br />between the time the preliminary plat and the final plat for Red Oak Estates No. <br />2 was approved. Instead of the easement being 1/2 on Lot 40 and 1/2 on Lot 39, <br />the entire easement ended up on Lot 40. <br />5 Ayes <br />MSP (Neisen- Baumgartner) To set a hearing to vacate the east five feet of the <br />twenty (20) foot sanitary sewer easement located on Lot 40, Block 1, Red Oak <br />Estates No. 2 for March 25th at 8:30 P.M. with the condition that the house <br />footings adjacent to the easement be of a depth equal to the sanitary sewer, and <br />that the builder proceeds in construction at his own risk. 5 Ayes <br />
