From General - $11,295.20, from Water - <br />$1,116.00, from Sewer - $1,405.46. Total disbursements: $41,108.94. <br />Mayor Neisen mentioned a letter received from Kenneth H. Walijarvi and <br />Associates regarding the soil and ground water investigation on the proposed <br />addition to the Municipal Building. The letter was turned over to Mr. <br />Bearden for his study. <br />Councilman Hodges'Report <br />Councilman Hodges reported that he had attended a Ramsey County League meeting <br />last week where they had a panel discussion on land zoning. <br />Councilman Baumgartner's :report <br />Councilman Baumgartner stated that there had been no Park and Recreation <br />meeting since the last Council meeting, but that the regular Park and <br />Recreation Commission would be held Thursday evening, July 25th at 8:00 P.M. <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />Councilman Baumgartner also stated that there would be a Planning Commission <br />meeting Wednesday, July 24th at 7:30 P.M. He also said that at the last Council <br />meeting he had announced that there is an opening on the Planning Commission <br />since Mr. Houle is leaving the area and anyone interested in applying for <br />membership on the Planning Commission can do so at the City Hall. Councilman <br />Baumgartner asked Mr. Gene Skiba of the New Brighton Bulletin if he would <br />announce this opening in the City's official paper. <br />Councilman Pickar's wort <br />Councilman Pickar reported that there was a Human Rights Commission meeting <br />a week ago, but that it had coincided with a Lakeside Park Commission meeting. <br />He hopes to have the Human Rights Commission meeting report at the next regular <br />Council meeting. The Lakeside Park Commission meeting had been visited by <br />Doug Bryant, Park and Recreation Department Director and discussion had been <br />
