SPECIAL MEETING <br />City of Mounds View <br />County of Ramsey <br />A special meeting of the Mounds View City Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Neisen at 6:35 p.m., on Thursday, January 2, 1975 at the Mounds View <br />City Hall, 2401 Highway 10, Mounds View, Mn. 55112 <br />Present: Mayor Neisen <br />Councilman Hodges <br />Councilman Baumgartner <br />Councilman Johnson <br />Councilman Picakr <br />Also Present: Clerk- Administrator Achen <br />Mayor Neisen administered oath of office of councilman to Donald C. Hodges <br />and Roger W. Baumgartner. <br />MSP ( Neisen- Johnson) To appoint Councilman Hodges as acting mayor until a new <br />mayor is appointed. <br />5 Ayes <br />Mayor Neisen turned the meeting over to acting Mayor Hodges at 6:30 p.m. <br />and officially resigned from office as Mayor of Mounds View. <br />MSP (Pickar- Johnson) To appoint the New Brighton Bulletin the city's <br />legal newspaper for 1975. <br />MSP (Johnson- Baumgartner) To appoint the First State Bank of New Brighton <br />the city's official depository for 1975. 4 Ayes <br />4 Ayes <br />Councilman Pickar stated that the Lakeside Park Commission requests an <br />increase in the number of commission members from seven to nine. This <br />would mean Mounds View would have to appoint another citizen member. <br />Acting Mayor Hodges directed the administrator to contact the City of Spring <br />Lake Park and find out what they plan to do and also to determine whether <br />this change will require an amendment to Mounds View city code. <br />MSP (Pickar- Johnson) To adjourn at 7:05 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Mark Achen <br />Clerk- Administrator <br />4 Ayes <br />
