-5- <br />July 28, 1975 <br />Motion was amended that necessary waivers be obtained for the <br />city to do this work. <br />MSP (Shelquist- Hodges) to amend the previous motion that the <br />city administrator be directed to insure that during rain storms <br />that someone from maintenance goes out and checks where the water <br />flows. <br />MSP (Pickar- Hodges) that the expenditure for this improvement be <br />paid out of Revenue Sharing. <br />Mayor Johnson acknowledged a minor subdivision request of Michael <br />E. White for 8357 Eastwood Road to subdivide one lot into two. <br />MSP (Johnson - Shelquist) to approve the minor subdivision request <br />of Michael E. White subject to obtaining a five foot easement on <br />both sides of the lots and a five foot easement on Eastwood road <br />and 30 foot easement on Greenwood Drive subject to receipt of all <br />appropriate fees and park dedication. <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />Mayor Johnson recessed the meeting at 10:05 p.m. <br />The regular meeting was called back to order at 10:25 p.m. <br />Engineer Bearden presented a feasibility report on grading Mounds <br />View Square drainage way between County Road I and Long Lake <br />Road on the north side of Highway 10. <br />M (Baumgartner) to accept Alternate #1 lowering the elevation of <br />the S.E. culvert to meet the grade of the improved ditch and to <br />receive the engineering report. <br />Motion died for lack of a second. <br />MSP (Johnson - Shelquist) to accept the engineer's report and accept <br />a compromise between Alternate #1 and Alternate #2 encompassing <br />the lowering of the S.E. culvert to meet the grade of the improved <br />ditch and lowering ditch S.E. ingress on Long Lake Road to a grade <br />of 905.9. A letter of modification to be sent to Paster Enterprises <br />telling them of the city's decision and informing them that direction <br />will be given to the engineering firm to prepare specifications and <br />to call for bids at the next Council meeting and invite them to be <br />present. <br />Administrator Achen presented the contract between the City and <br />M.A.P.S.I.(Metropolitan Animal Patrol Service Inc.) <br />Baumgartner Aye <br />Hodges Aye <br />Shelquist Aye <br />Pickar Aye <br />Johnson Aye <br />
