Salary will be in accordance with Local <br />No. 320. <br />Administrator Achen reported on transfers recommended by the auditor <br />which Council had approved in early 1975. Deposit of forfeited tax <br />sales to the revolving fund approval should have been restricted only <br />to the penalty. Interest and principal still belong to the bond <br />redemption fund. Transfer neral-to Payroll $501.00 in 1974. <br />Tor to at-el- CrtA9 .v F "�4a <br />MSP (Johnson- Hodges) to approve the in -fund transfers as enumerated <br />by the administrator. <br />Councilman Baumgartner's Report <br />Councilman Baumgartner reported that there was no quorum at the last <br />Park and Recreation Commission meeting so the park title winner could <br />not be chosen. He said Mr. Bryant will send letters to members reminding <br />them of their responsibility. The next meeting will be August 11, 1975. <br />Councilman Hodges' Report <br />Councilman Hodges suggested a note be sent to the Bicentennial <br />Committee commending them for the fine job on the celebration <br />"Evening in the Park ". <br />He mentioned that Council should look into an exit gate for Belle Lane <br />and the Mounds View Mobile Home Park. <br />Mayor Johnson directed the administrator to check into this. <br />Councilman Shelquist's Report <br />Councilman Shelquist reported on the Planning Commission meeting. He <br />stated David Licht, Midwest Planning, was present at the last meeting. <br />Mr. Licht suggested using his service and charging residents a flat <br />fee of $30.00 Also that he attend Planning Commission meetings in <br />an advisory capacity at $25 to $30 per hour. The Planning Commission <br />felt that they would have him on a will -call basis but Mrs. Haake <br />said he is leary of answering any questions not related to the <br />comprehensive plan. <br />Mr. Ingvald Johnson's request for subdivision was given provisional <br />approval upon his bringing in a revised plat to the city for approval, <br />the corrected surveyor's proposed preliminary plat, excepting Lot 2, <br />putting the utility easement in the correct position, with 100 foot <br />boundaries as required. <br />Mr. Licht stressed the point that the Commission should employ <br />his firm so that an unacceptable plat such as Mr. Johnson's would <br />not have reached the Commission without the engineer seeing it. <br />Mr. Donald Gimpel's request for minor subdivision was tabled until <br />August Planning Commission. <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />
