PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A regular meeting of the Mounds View City Council was called to order <br />by Mayor Johnson on November 24, 1975, at 8:04 p.m., at Mounds View <br />City Hall, 2401 Highway 10, Mounds View, MN 55112. <br />Present: Mayor Johnson <br />Councilman Hodges <br />Councilman Baumgartner <br />Councilman Pickar <br />Councilman Shelquist <br />Also present: Clerk - Admin. Achen <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Engineer Bearden <br />CITIZENS' COMMENTS AND REQUESTS FROM THE FLOOR <br />Mr. Gene Schouweiler, 3017 Bronson, inquired as to whether his check <br />for a refund was available and also if his request for a lot split <br />was on the agenda. Mayor Johnson stated that, yes, his check was <br />prepared and his lot split request was on the agenda. <br />Frank Gabrysch, 2832 County Rd. J,inquired regarding the Blaine <br />drainage system. Mayor Johnson replied that we have agreed to support <br />it and if it be approved, we shall be included on it. The Mayor <br />asked Mr. Gabrysch if he had done anything about the ticket he had <br />received, as mentioned in last month's minutes; and Mr. Gabrysch said <br />that he has not spoken to the policeman yet as their hours conflict, <br />but that he has gotten much of it cleaned up. <br />Mayor Johnson asked for the approval of the minutes for November 10, <br />1975. Councilman Baumgartner requested that, on page 9, the words <br />"Park and Recreation" after the words "that the" and before the word <br />"sign" be stricken. <br />MSP (Shelquist- Baumgartner) to approve the minutes of November 10, <br />1975, Council meeting, as corrected. 5 ayes <br />Mayor Johnson presented the Gene Schouweiler request for a minor <br />subdivision at 8265 Eastwood Road, stating that the Planning Commission <br />had moved to approve the subdivision into two equal lots (101.51 x <br />236.53) and that this motion had carried and was forwarded to the <br />Council. The Mayor asked for Mr. Shelquist's opinion. Councilman <br />Shelquist stated that he was unable to attend the last Planning <br />Commission meeting but Administrator Achen said that it was a routine <br />minor subdivision with no drainage problems or assessments required. <br />MSP (Baumgartner- Hodges) that the Council approve the minor subdivision <br />request of Gene Schouweiler for the property located at 8265 Eastwood <br />Road into two equal lots (101.51 x 236.53). <br />5 ayes <br />
