Wallace Cement Co. <br />3417 - 142nd Ave. N.W. <br />Anoka, MN 55303 <br />Transient Merchant - renewal - to sell Christmas trees <br />Denny Erickson (1 month) <br />2167 Terrace Drive <br />Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />Delores Saunders (6 months) renewal - to sell paintings <br />Box 206 on velvet <br />Wyoming, MN 55092 <br />It was explained that Mr. Erickson's application was for the sale <br />of Christmas trees in the Mermaid Supper Club lot and Ms. Saunders' <br />was for the sale of painting on velvet and statues. <br />Mayor Johnson stated that he felt that it was unfair to the merchants <br />who are spending money on their stores to have somebody move in and <br />camp and sell the same things (referring to Ms. Saunders). He further <br />stated that the Jaycees plan to sell Christmas wreaths the Saturday <br />after Thanksgiving and the following Saturday, and that they should <br />be properly chastized as they did not apply for a license in time. <br />Mayor Johnson submitted an application on their behalf allowing them <br />to sell the Christmas wreaths those two Saturdays. <br />MSP (Baumgartner- Hodges) that we waive the fee for the Mounds View <br />Jaycees for their license to sell and that we approve their license. 4 ayes <br />Abstain - Johnson <br />
