PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A regular meeting of the Mounds View City Council was called to <br />order by Mayor Johnson on December 22, 1975, at 8:05 pm at Mounds <br />View City Hall, 2401 Highway 10, Mounds View, MN 55112. <br />Present: Mayor Johnson <br />Councilman Hodges <br />Councilman Baumgartner <br />Councilman Pickar <br />Councilman Shelquist <br />Also present; Clerk - Admin. Achen <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Engineer Bearden <br />Mayor Johnson asked for the approval of the minutes for December 8, <br />1975. MSP (Baumgartner - Shelquist) to approve the minutes of <br />December 8, 1975. 5 ayes <br />Administrator Achen presented the Ingvald Johnson Terrace final plat <br />for approval. It is a major subdivision between Greenwood Drive and <br />Long Lake Road and the staff recommends it. The stipulations are <br />the same as in the preliminary plat and they were found to be <br />satisfactory. <br />MSP (Hodges - Pickar) that the Council approve for filing the plat <br />of Ingvald Johnson at 8384 Long Lake Road. <br />5 ayes <br />Mr. Richard Carlson appeared before the Council requesting an extension <br />of time in the Briar Lake final plat, explaining that there has <br />been a problem in getting the final plat recorded with Ramsey <br />County as there were some assessments that had to be removed on <br />the title and the sheriff had not properly served it on NSP. Because <br />this had to be redone he would like an extension of approximately <br />30 days. Attorney Meyers stated that there is a 100 day deadline, <br />but the Council could waive this if they thought it necessary. <br />MSP (Shelquist- Hodges) that we extend the period for filing the <br />final plat with the county until February 9, 1976, in the Briar Lake <br />matter, as requested by Richard Carlson. 5 ayes <br />Administrator Achen read to the Council Resolution #701 encouraging <br />evaluation and reform of the criminal justice system. <br />MSP (Hodges - Pickar) Resolution #701 encouraging evaluation and reform <br />of the criminal justice system. 5 ayes <br />Administrator Achen read to the Council resolutions regarding <br />apportioning assessments. <br />MSP (Hodges - Shelquist) Resolution #697 to reapportion the assessments <br />of the Virgil Beyer J.R.O. Estates. 5 ayes <br />MSP (Shelquist - Pickar) Resolution #698 to reapportion the assessments <br />of the Timothy Lewis minor subdivision. 5 ayes <br />
