-6- <br />Councilman Shelquist - nay <br />Councilman Hodges - aye <br />Councilman Baumgartner - nay <br />Councilman Pickar - aye <br />Mayor Johnson - nay <br />Motion failed <br />Harvey Melby, Sr., minor subdivision request for 8371 Eastwood Drive <br />Ad. Achen stated that the Planning Commission approved this request <br />with the stipulation that an existing swimming pool and driveway be <br />removed prior to issuance of a building permit. <br />Mr. Melby said that the swimming pool has been removed and he has made <br />a driveway out the back onto Greenwood and they are using it. He requested <br />that the village take care of the assessments on Greenwood. The <br />building inspector said he would have gravel brought out to 8372 Greenwood. <br />Mayor Johnson inquired as to what system the city has to follow up to <br />make sure that what we say should be stipulated is done. <br />Ad. Achen replied that it is in the file if the Council takes any action. <br />Perhaps the city could set up another filing system for the city lots. <br />MSP (Shelquist- Hodges) to approve the lot division for Harvey Melby, Sr. <br />at 8371 Eastwood Drive, as recommended by the Planning Commission in <br />their March 24, 1976, minutes. 5 ayes <br />Arthur Moschkau minor subdivision request for 8330 Long Lake Road. <br />Ad. Achen stated that the Planning Commission recommended approval <br />with the stipulations requiring 5 foot utility easements on the back <br />lot lines and removal of a shed before the signing of the deed. <br />MSP (Johnson - Shelquist) that we approve the minor subdivision request <br />for Arthur Moschkau for 8330 Long Lake Rd, conditionally upon the receipt <br />of a five foot easement on the back lot lines and removal of the shed <br />before signing the deed. 5 ayes <br />Receive petition for construction of Edgewood Drive between Hillview <br />Road and County Rd I. Mayor Johnson stated that he thinks it is fine to <br />have a public hearing but we should have the drainage study first. <br />Councilman Baumgartner asked if we could have the public hearing after <br />receipt of the drainage plan? <br />Mayor Johnson said that they would keep the petition on file until the <br />storm water drainage study is in. Mr. Eigenheer, 7860 Edgewood Drive, <br />submitted the petition. <br />MSP (Johnson - Baumgartner) that we delay further action on this until <br />receipt of the storm water study. 5 ayes <br />Dwight Kasperbauer,5085 Edgewood Rd, asked if the Selmer Sakariason <br />matter could be readdressed. <br />Mayor Johnson asked what was to be reconsidered? <br />Mr. Kasperbaur stated that he was the individual who wants to build on <br />it and he would like his agent to discuss this briefly. <br />Ken Sjodin, agent for Mr. Kasperbauer spoke: When they met with the <br />Planning Commission they said that this would be approved conditioned upon <br />removing the garage by June 30. <br />Atty Meyers said that this was not approved by the Council, just set a <br />public hearing. <br />
