December 17, 1976 Page 2 <br />and specifications are approved, and at that time Council may <br />change its mind. <br />Mrs. William Christison, 2085 Terrace, stated that major noise <br />source in her neighborhood is from the North Star Speedway. <br />Mr. Bill Beim, representing Pinecrest Properties, stated that <br />he prefers to have no barrier alona his frontage. He requested <br />that the southern end of the barrier near County Rd. H -2 be <br />turned westward on the north County Rd. H -2 right -of -way to <br />avoid extension of the barrier further south. <br />Mr. Harrington stated he opposes the barrier because it would <br />obstruct his view. He requested, however, that his neighbors be <br />given a fair chance to express their opinions. <br />Mrs. Larson,manager of Mounds View Mobile Home Park, stated <br />that she was requested to attend this hearing on behalf of the owner <br />who favored erection of the barriers. <br />William Bobendrier, part owner ColonialVillage Mobile Home <br />Park, stated he favors the noise barriers. <br />Councilmember Baumgartner asked whether there were any further <br />comments.
