Rowley suggested that Mr. Uasielewski ask the person <br />that had the petition to give it to the City Hall. The other park <br />owner said he was in favor of the barrier. She stated that the mobile <br />home section seems to want the barrier so the section in question is <br />the home owners. Councilmember Rowley stated that she was comfortable <br />with sending the letter to just the home owners. <br />At 8:29 p.m. Mayor Pickar called to order the public hearing on the <br />revision of ien.L2LL31ocraComrnunitiDevelork;rantororambudet. <br />Administrator Achen explained that this was to revise the budget to <br />specify the portions of money being spent for administrative costs. <br />MSP (Hodges-Rowley) for approval of the revision of the Community <br />Development Block Grant program budget and specify .1,570 as code <br />enforcement and '1,430 as Administrative Costs. <br />At 8:31 p.m. Mayor Pickar closed the public hearing and called the <br />regular meeting hack to order. <br />5 ayes <br />RAMSEY COUNTY LEGISLATIVE PROPOSALS <br />Administrator Achen suggested that this matter be tabled since he has <br />not had tine to review the Ramsey County Board's legislative package. <br />The Council will have adequate time to table this since the County <br />won't be submitting their recommendations until the second week in <br />January. Administrator Achen stated that the Ramsey County League <br />of Local Government will be holding a meeting on the legislative <br />package on January 5, 1977 at 7:30 p.m. This meeting will be conducted <br />by Bob 'dorth. <br />PROPOSED REVISION OF PRECINCT BOUNDARIES <br />Administrator Achen stated that he has not received any input from the <br />residents on this. He also stated that the City cannot join two or more <br />precincts for voting in elections where we anticipate a small turn-out. <br />The polling plac3s can be combined but the voting must be split. There <br />would have to be a set of election judges for each precinct too. The <br />Secretary of States Office said the City should always anticipate a <br />100% turnout. <br />Discussion of how to number the precincts. The Council decided to <br />number them 1-7, leaving Precinct 4 with the same number, in a <br />counterclockwise manner. <br />1SP (Rowley-Hodges) for the adoption of Resolution 791 changing the <br />precinct boundaries as recommended on the map subthitted by the <br />Administrator. <br />5 r ayes <br />
